Not sure if this was mentioned here, but there's a British version of Saturday Night Live that debuts this month.

I only noticed because Wolf Alice are the musical guest for the second episode.

Yeh first episode on Saturday, hope it turns out good. A few comics on there I quite like from Insta etc.

As expected, utter tripe.

It was on par with the US version.

Enjoyed Wet Leg and I'll definitely be watching next week for Wolf Alice.

Thought it was alright tbh. Always gonna be some cringe bits with these type of things, especially for the first episode. Potential at least.

Really disappointed  with the 3rd series of night Agent on Netflix.

First couple were exciting and a thrill to watch but this one is just being lagged out so much.

Could have done it in 4 episodes, we are now on the last one which is 8.

Will give the next series a miss.

Rose in it is mega for though!!

I thought the same with S2 the last 4 episodes dragged, didn't bother with S3

You chose well to not bother. Wish we hadn't!!

Started watching the original The Outer Limits.

Only a few episodes in, I've already seen Donald Pleasance, Edward Mulhare, David McCallum and Martin Landau making an appearance.

A testament what you can do with little budget. These are great, gripping stories, pretty much timeless.

I tried but got bored. Too many dull moments whereas the first series was quite pacy. As was 2.

Felt like the writers had run out of ideas for decent plotlines and character development.

I wonder what the next series of Line Of Duty will be like given the long run it's had. Will it too run out of plot?

Watched the Huw Edwards drama, it was interesting performance by Martin Clunes was good and uncanny in moments. Makes you think though another employee of the BBC who they once again tried to protect and we pay our licence fees to these guys. I never realised how worse Edwards was, seemed like he totally took advantage of this lad when he was going through a lot of mental health problems. Once again it was quite stupid of Edwards to do this knowing after the Saville business that it would be impossible for any British celeb too keep this locked away.

Been enjoying the new season of One Piece on Netflix

I liked the first season but it's a bit cartoony and kid's-TV esque now. Like a big budget CBeebies show.

The ginger girl is nice though.

Nice to see they've got the title correct.

Actually looks really good this, I'm assuming each book will get a whole season

I'm not really sure how that works. The latter books have far more to them then the earlier ones.

I like it.

I still feel like it's a massive mistake though. It doesn't matter how good it is, it will always be viewed negatively next to the original based off nothing but nostalgia.

It would have been much smarter to base the show around the cursed child story and focus on the relationship between James Potter and Scorpius Malfoy. You would have the origional material to base the plot around but there is no where near the same amount of it so you would also have artistic freedom to pad it out how you want. You would also have a far greater margin for error as people aren't so attached to it and would be more forgiving.

I am glad they are doing, with how much got missed out of the books in the later movies and this being even more faithful it will be great to see that stuff on screen

They should definitely still look to do something around the Marauders as well as this, no reason they can't do both. Definitely not cursed child though, absolutely horrendous and basically like a fanfic
