Just watched the first 6 episodes of rick and Morty. Quality episodes with fun dark humor.

But I have to say, this show makes you think! I don't know how to say it but, it has that creepy "psychological undertone" theme going for it that just make you feel weird, honestly, I wasn't expecting the writing to be this deep for a cartoon.

Looks like you've backed the right conceptual horse ;)

Why did you make me Google that, Carl? lol

But yeah, I quite like the show.

Sorry I thought that episode was earlier on in the series.  Still it's not exactly a spoiler unless you chose to read an entire synopsis of the episode after googling that one joke!

Each episode has a post-credit scene just in case you were unaware.

Its OK, Carl

And thanks, didn't know about the post-credit scene for every episode.

Rick & Morty has comfortably become 1 of my favourite shows of all time. I must have re watched seasons 1 & 2 about 3 times now

That episode where they lock themselves in the house due to the aliens tricking them into thinking they have known them all of their life is incredible.

All of Rick's moves are dick moves.

I must not have paid enough attention to Rick & Morty when I watched the first season, it was funny in parts but nothing struck me as being memorable aside from it being completely surreal at times

Rewatching season one to five of the classic but often overlooked space soap opera Babylon 5.

The special effects are obviously dated but the story and writing still hold up strong.

Good video of the best stories in the long, main story arc.

Love Londo, great character :)

I really enjoyed Babylon 5 after watching it for the first time a few years ago. Very different to Star Trek, but also very good having long story arcs and the characters were mostly excellent.

I remember when it first aired and it was mostly overlooked, I was watching Deep Space 9 and was only bit part watching B5 but my mate kept watching and told me just how much better B5 was, so I watched Severed Dreams down his house and that was it, I was hooked again.

Londo was brilliant as a character, his and G'kars story arc is, was, top stuff.

Quite a number of the cast has passed away, the latest a few months ago.

The characters they played are probably easier to remember.

Vir Cotto., Londos asistant...................Stephen Furst

Jeffrey Sinclair, station commander...........Micheal O'hare

G'kar..........................Andreas Katsulas

Stephen Franklin, the doctor......Richard Biggs

Micheal Garibaldi, chief of security......Jerry Doyle

Zack Allen, later chief of security.................Jeff Conaway

Up to season 2 episode 3: amazing show with consistent dark humor, exactly what I like.

Just want to say, this is one of the most heartbreaking shows ever, the writing is so amazing. I never felt about a show the same as RaM, the writers are trying to pass massage but in a form of layers, you will only get what you want to get.

The wubba lubba dub dub catchphrase origin got to me, rick went through a lot and he is just crying for help.

This show is more realistic with human feelings and interactions than many non-cartoon shows, plus, it has some of the most funny characters I've seen in a long time.

Ray Donovan must be the show I've watched the most of in my life without ever really actually getting in to.

I'm halfway through season four and I still can't confirm whether or not I actually like it.

Probably doesn't help that I'm blasting through it on the back of Billions and Leftovers which were both utterly superb.

I do think I might have acquired a Boston accent though. "Bridget, get in the caah!"

I watched the first series of Billions and really couldn't see the point they were trying to make. I haven't bothered this series.

On the plus side Narcos is back on Friday.

Don't think they're trying to make any point with Billions, it's just an interesting drama/thriller.

First couple of episodes I was like "um, wtf is a short? Wtf is a hedge? What does this guy do?"

Then I stopped trying to work it out and realised it doesn't really matter. It's basically just a crime drama, I think they do a good job of making both Bobby and Chuck flawed enough that there isn't really a good guy and a bad guy and I don't think they're being too preachy either from a capitalist or socialist perspective.

It just is what it is really.

In fact, I think that lack of a clear cut "point" or its refusal to really take a side is what makes it. It's not saying money is bad and it's not saying money is good, it's just telling a story in which money is a prop.

Matt could watch it and think "Bobby Axelrod is an absolute legend" and I could watch it and be cheering for Chuck and I don't think either of us would be disappointed with many outcomes.
