Ross-Kemp Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Come on ! Mata 1-0 ! I've had all 3 English teams to qualify & Chelsea -1 !
Ross-Kemp Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Chelsea 3-1 up now, terry & Torres. Anzi down to 10 men against Newcastle.
HEGGSY Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Chelsea fans after Torres scored...."He scores when he wants" No. No he doesn't.
21st Century Fox Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Chelsea fans after Torres scored...."He scores when he wants" No. No he doesn't. Correct
Haydos Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Chelsea fans after Torres scored...."He scores when he wants" No. No he doesn't. I........I think that's the joke
Ross-Kemp Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 Cisse last minute puts Newcastle through. Another 2 bets up today !
MC Prussian Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 ... and Basel have once more overcome an Eastern opponent. What an achievement - through to the quarterfinals... ...Tottenham or Newcastle next, please.
AKCJ Posted 14 March 2013 Posted 14 March 2013 What do Tottenham and Oscar Pistorius have in common? They both need Bale.
Fox in the North Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 What do Tottenham and Oscar Pistorius have in common? They both need Bale. Ole! So the quarter finalists are: Fenerbahce, Benfica, Newcastle, Lazio, Tottenham, Rubin, Basel and Chelsea. I think that shapes up rather nicely
HEGGSY Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 I........I think that's the joke Well it's not funny hush
StanSP Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 My own personal draw rehearsal: Benfica vs Newcastle Lazio vs Basel Tottenham vs Fenerbahce Rubin Kazan vs Chelsea Did that not knowing any 'rules' of this draw. Are there any i.e. teams from same country can't play each other (not that they did in my draw anyway) or certain teams home/away first?
Super_horns Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 Don't think so...free for all I guess. British media love the Europa league now?
AjcW Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 You weren't far off stan! Chelsea v Rubin Tottenham V Basel Fenerbache v Lazio (jesus that'll be angsty!!) Benfica V Newcastle Home legs April 4th Away legs April 11th.
MC Prussian Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 Jaaa... Tottenham. Basel fans are already going nuts over that draw. Hopeful they'll get something out of playing an English club. Stopping Bale will be high up on the task list. I wonder if that's actually possible the form he's on right now.

I think you (its okay to say you right?) could be this seasons Bilbao, so it could be a good game. I'm definitely going to go to either the Chelsea or Spurs home game.
purpleronnie Posted 15 March 2013 Posted 15 March 2013 Really tough for newcastle, chelsea & spurs have a decent chance as long as spurs can sort out their defence.
AjcW Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Just got to Chelsea. I'd say I'm looking forward to it but I've got man flu and its snowing... Never thought I'd be wearing this many layers to a game in April!!!
Corky Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 After tonight, Newcastle will have played more European games at the Stadium of Light than Sunderland.
Super_horns Posted 4 April 2013 Posted 4 April 2013 Think Spurs and Chelsea will go through..Newcastle out though.
