I've heard youve had Jim the washing machine repair man around yours plenty of times

Yes. He’s very good with his hands and very cheap too but I’ve never understood why he gets me to check the drum for damage

What a load of cr@p.  Can this festering maggot ever be removed.

As an earlier post said, he could be done up for rape, murder and child porn....the rich and community do-gooder east Leicester Asians plus tens of thousands of Indian postal votes will vote him through.

Disgusting man backed by arrogant self interested individuals

How fortunate he got amnesia after getting a good bumming. He wasn't able to tell the committee much about the sex, not that they wanted to know of course.

I don't have a problem with him being gay.

I do have a problem with lying about having selective amnesia, hiding behind a hetro family lifestyle because of his culture and of course, the expenses scandal.

Surely if he is suspended he cannot stand during the period of suspension for re-election? Or is the suspension just the same as gardening leave, extended holiday?

Can stand I presume.

The people of Leicester East will then elect a suspended politician barred from his job for buying class A drugs for a rent boy by pretending to be a washing machine salesman.

The only surprise will be he wasn't selected by Momentum to go alongside the other criminals.

Some people do get the politicians they deserve.

It seems as if the NEC will decide on whether Vaz, Williamson & 2 others suspended for alleged sexual misconduct can stand or not.

Meanwhile, trigger ballots have been halted - which reprieves 4 Labour MPs who were facing potential deselection (by local Corbynistas, I presume).

....Margaret Hodge & a Hull MP both won constituency votes preventing their deselection.

I do rather admire Hodge. She's a tough cookie - saw off Griffin & the BNP before, now seems to have seen off the Hard Left, too.

So Pete Willsman will now vote on Williamson - he should be OK to stand then.

Completely agree with you on her tenacity but I'm strugglng to see her moral position here on this.

She has openly declared that Corbyn is a racist and an antisemite, she'll now spend the next few weeks campaigning to make him the Prime Minister of our country, it's a bit strange isn't it?

Resigns and she's replaced by something she is fighting against. I've often thought that resigning in disagreement sort of works against you, its natural selection in a way.

I just can't understand that point of view of view, it just requires a complete dereliction of duty and conscience.

If Tommy Robinson is the next Tory leader I don't think the correct moral decision to take is go try and make him the PM as if an MP resigns one of his supporters takes over.

We take the piss out of the TIG lot but at least they had the courage to say they couldn't do it, a Jewish woman was hounded out of the party a few weeks ago, I'm not sure how Hodge can look herself in the mirror.

I dislike Corbyn but it's not really the equivalent of your example. This is why FPTP is an issue because constituencies just become proxies rather than being represented properly and the two party system makes you vote for your own lesser evil. I half agree that if it's so bad resign, but the problems with Momentum/Corbynista's (what a shit term btw, first time I think I've ever typed it out) will only get worse if the more traditional MPs step down.

Officially confirmed as being suspended from The Commons.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-50252630

Will be ridiculous if he does get re-elected as Leicester East MP.

Went past his 'office' on Melton Road earlier, and surprised that it's still operating.

stories about Vaz being a nonce have been going around in Leicester for years. Not 'into rent boys' type nonce, but full on nonce. Launched a staunch defense of Janner and was a big mate of the Hindu Priest who got hacked up by the addict in the early 2000's. The Priest used to pick up young lads around town and bring them back to his place on Harrison Road. The lad that killed him was actually picked up near Vaz HQ.

All stories, of course.
