Collymore Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 He's missing too many easy chance IMO, the one against Hull, just after our first, was an unbelievable miss one on one. He kind of reminds of Matty Fryup when he use to waste so many chances, the thing is, Fryatt would still go crackers and hit 7 in 4. Is Vardy capable of this? Only time will tell.
marko Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 I knew there had to be one negative to come out of tonight.
FoxyPV Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 For fvcksake! He's jumped 3+ divisions in less than a season. Give the the lad a chance.
Mark_w Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 He has scored 3 goals already this season, I mean come on some people were still claiming Beckford would get us 20 goals a season a couple of months ago. Vardy is on course to beat his tally easily.
Guest MattP Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Think how much worth to the team his workrate is creating in terms of space for our flair players to show their stuff. Anyone benefiting from that?
kingfox Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Give him a break. Bet you was praising him for his goal at the weekend. Shut up and enjoy, instead of moaning.
Sol thewall Bamba Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 I can see what you mean he's missed a few easy chances that other strikers probably would have taken, but he's still scored a few for a lad who was playing non league 6 months ago.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 He could be more clinical but he puts in the work rate the team is doing well. If we were in the bottom few then fine.
Pegosteve Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Pointless thread, second in the table and all some people can do is try and knock somebody!! Why can´t you celebrate success??
lcfcsnow Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 I don't think he or Nugent are clinical enough as strikers, lots of good chances go to waste and its bound to start costing us soon.
Kitchandro Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 He kind of reminds of Matty Fryup when he use to waste so many chances, the thing is, Fryatt would still go crackers and hit 7 in 4. Is Vardy capable of this? Only time will tell. Exactly. So give it time before comparing him to a player who was here for 5 years.
marty78 Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 I don't think he or Nugent are clinical enough as strikers, lots of good chances go to waste and its bound to start costing us soon. It's not like you to look for negatives. I have a great respect for Mrs. Snow.
AKCJ Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 No chance. You didn't see Fatty Fryup running around like Vards does.
Collymore Posted 2 October 2012 Author Posted 2 October 2012 Do you think big nige tells the players that they are all great after every win, and end of the world if we lose? I'm not downbeat, i just try to stay as balanced as possible. I bet a lot of posters who have posted in this thread slate right and left and centre when times are bad!. I rarely do that, unjust try to stay balanced and see no problem with my timing at all.
seenitall Posted 2 October 2012 Posted 2 October 2012 Jeez, I thought I could be negative but credit where its due, City are flying
