Trav Le Bleu Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Not sure if anyone has actually seen this today but allegedly the Thais still want him out irrespective of results. Would be a completely stupid move if they did. http://www.dailymail...eicester-2.html John Edwards again. He should change his name to Richard.
davieG Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 He spent a fortune on wages at Pompey that got them up, then in the Premiership they were dead and buried before Gayadmak turned up and they started spending money they clearly didn't have and clearly couldn't afford. Did a good job at West Ham, does help when your youth team gives you Carrick, Ferdinand, Joe Cole and Frank Lampard mind, in hindsight you could say they underachieved. He spent £200million at Spurs. http://transferleagu...omparisons.html According to them we got £200,000 for Mills and still haven't sold Bamba, unless i'm reading it wrong http://www.transferleague.co.uk/football-transfers/leicester-city-transfers.html
maddog Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Could simply be the case that the owners are craving another big name to build the LCFC brand in Thailand and worldwide. Perhaps commercial sales are down, perhaps some important contacts of the owners, I.e. high level colleagues of King Power have suggested a bigger named manager is required again. And perhaps even if Pearson takes us to the Premier League, he will be swiftly replaced by a big name manager anyway for commercial reasons again. Either way there's clearly unease, hopefully its nothing and Pearson stays. Will he stay long term and be the face of 'brand LCFC' to the premier league and beyond? I doubt it......

i luv u foxes Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Iv always said im not a fan of pearson but il give credit where due and atm we look brilliant and thats down to NP. So theres no way on earth he should be sacked at present like iv said all clubs should first evaluate their situation in november december so they can settle and see whats happening and so when they bring in a new manager he can use january window . My concern is why are we always linked with Iain Dowie id cry if he ever became our manager
Rusko187 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 That's why this topic was started along side this one - http://www.foxestalk...ld-just-do-one/ Ooops Sorry.

With you there, I get the feeling even if we do go up they'll be desperate to replace him and will just be waiting for a dip in form.
whoareyaaa Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 The Thais would be mad to sack person now, all they have to do is look at the last decade of managers to come and go and the misery it's caused us fans. Hopefully this is just pure bullshit, Dowie c'mon who the fook is Dowie, even Redknapp, would be stupid to chop Pearson now. If our owners have any sense then they will stick with the man that has put together an exciting team and is sitting in 2nd place 1 point from top, with the 2nd best defence in the league, he has also saved them Millions of pounds from his transfer activity.
Guest nathan. Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 I don't think for a second he will be replaced but if for some crazy reason he is i swear to all that's holy they will never see another penny of mine.
Leicesterpool Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 If the worst comes to the worst then like i said before i can see a protest forming demanding for Pearson to be reinstated, anyone agree?
Jace Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Everyone please stop worrying about it, if the rumours are true and they did approach Harry it was when we were near the bottom of the league after losing 4 out of 5 games! They ain't going to be getting rid now Pearsons proved him and the team have the kahunas to go and get promoted, not only are we 1 point off top we've gone through a bad patch and played most of the top teams already
The Year Of The Fox Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 If the worst comes to the worst then like i said before i can see a protest forming demanding for Pearson to be reinstated, anyone agree? Yes
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 If the worst comes to the worst then like i said before i can see a protest forming demanding for Pearson to be reinstated, anyone agree? Those days are long gone. The best we can hope for is everyone in Leicestershire to make an audible "tut" at the same time.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Are we asking for a vote of confidence? NP is getting the lads playing great football on the pitch and hopefully the fans will be loud and proud in backing NP like last night
1964FOX Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Great quote from Youngy on Facebook "bollox to the mail"
Guest shearfox Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 It's a good thing when the owners remain silent on these matters, usually when they come out and back the manager, the manager is gone by the next game... The less the owners say the better.
dmayne7 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Ive just emailed Susan Whealan Please say you spelt her name right when you emailed her or you've just made things worse!
acooling08 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 I think the Thais would be upset if they knew we thought they were considering sacking Pearson. Give them some credit, they're not idiots. They appointed Pearson and know that he's the man for the job.
Ozwin Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 They already forced Pearson out and had to recall him to get the fans back on side, they'd have to literally be retarded to do it again.
Bettsj2 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 They already forced Pearson out and had to recall him to get the fans back on side, they'd have to literally be retarded to do it again. They weren't here when he left last time.
acooling08 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 They already forced Pearson out and had to recall him to get the fans back on side, they'd have to literally be retarded to do it again. Even though Mandaric was chairman when Sousa was appointed.
marty78 Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Even though Mandaric was chairman when Sousa was appointed. Never let the facts get in the way if they don't suit though, this is a football forum after all.
Happy Fox Posted 3 October 2012 Posted 3 October 2012 Sousa was pally with the owners so it doesn't take einstein to work out that something was out of the norm.
