flowwolf Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 That kind of dump you have after a particularly carbohydrate-heavy day? Pebbledash, is it? No they are Chocolate coated fortune cookies of all your pearls of wisdom past and present. Guaranteed to make them ill.
cambridgefox Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 That is all. Honestly did you go o all the effort to do that?obviously you borrowed the photos from the web.i think I would like those to eat.
Corky Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 Agree with Bilo, any other day and it would be frowned upon to go asking for sweets and treats from other households. Never done it and thankfully no one has turned up tonight.

Tielemans63 Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 Pumkins are not what they used to be! Not since they dropped the 'p'
KingPowerLCFC1884 Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 got there are some miserable gits on here....
Voll Blau Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 No problem with Halloween, always used to love apple bobbing and all that stuff. The history of it's actually quite interesting. Trick or treating can **** off though. Was always taught it was glorified begging and kids will get nothing off me.
OzFox Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 There was me thinking the Aussies were going all American...sounds just as bad in the UK. I don't mind trick or treat on small scale but no joke, there must have been a hundred kids in my street last night closely followed by their fretting parents. Love Halloween though. I used to go to a pub in London that they'd fill with dry ice, pumpkins, lanterns and put dry leaves all over the floor. Very atmospheric.
acooling08 Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 It's funny how you can track the class of the area by it's trick or treaters. Driving out of Leicester at around 6:15, there were lots of youths in tracksuits roaming... then as I got further into the county the kids got younger and had costumes on
AoWW Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 I'm fortunate enough to live in one of a group of houses behind an electric security gate. Close the gate, disconnect the intercom. Job done. Nice relaxing, uninterrupted evening.

kingfox Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 Halloween over here nowadays is nothing special. Only had one group of kids knock on my door tonight, gave them some Milky Ways, yet the smallest girl kept waving her bucket at me. The greedy little shits.
isaidno Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 We used to give them the sweets out of the cupboard that were a couple of years out of date, or doggie chocolates
cambridgefox Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 Not had many to mine this evening . At work today they did remind me of the time I upset a few a couple of years back. Some trackywearing youth came to the door, with one if I remember dressed up(not got a problem with that) well one of the others grabbed a fooking great handful of sweets out of te bucket I was holding,I pulled the bucket away glared at him and said"not that many you ****" and shook the bucket until he put them back. If you make an effort I'm more than happy to give.
Vacamion Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 I've been in the pub and then at the curry house.... what did I miss?
AoWW Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 I've been in the pub and then at the curry house.... what did I miss? Webbo tried to lure me into the mods' room with the promise of sweets.
Leicesterpool Posted 31 October 2012 Posted 31 October 2012 Never been a big fan of Halloween, I never went trick or treating personally I think it's dangerous for kids, If they we're my kids I wouldn't let them go. When I was younger my halloween involved sweets bought from the spar, hot dogs & toffee apples then watch Most Haunted Live till late. Overall I prefer bonfire night, much more exciting.
Julian Joachim Jr Shabadoo Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 Only had one group of kids knock on my door tonight, gave them some Milky Ways, yet the smallest girl kept waving her bucket at me. Where did she want you to put the Milky Way?
Webbo Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 Webbo tried to lure me into the mods' room with the promise of sweets. You know you want some.

ScouseFox Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 What kind of person just gives away cocaine?! Surely an accident?
Corky Posted 1 November 2012 Posted 1 November 2012 You know you want some. They are magic starts, not lucky stars. # pedantry
