absolutelegend Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I can't go tonight...stuck in an airport hotel. However watching woods next hat trick on sky will make it more enjoyable :-)
Deucalion Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I reckon below 20 000 as most fans from further afield will have to think seriously about whether to make the journey. I've already decided it's not worth the risk. Before anyone has a go about being a plastic, bear in mind I sent Sky back two weeks ago and it is a 3 hour round trip in good conditions, which I uncomplainingly do for every home match. So it's a stream or Radio Leicester then.
Poakey Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 May have to back track on that now! Lot of snow up here. You only took about 500 last season but seemed pretty vocal if i remember.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Very little Leicester fans + Middlesbrough fans wont arrive until after the match starts... AND YOU THINK I'M JOKING.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Lowest crowd of the season i think 14,000 at most
Bettsj2 Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Lowest crowd of the season i think 14,000 at most ST holders will be happy at this. No Pie and Pint merchants ruining it for them. They can sit there in the half empty stadium with no bitterness running through them at all.
Guest shearfox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 This will be a poor attendance, Friday night, on tele and the weather is awful...
Guest Bilo Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 The lowest I saw was 16,500 for a game with Stockport in the League One season, similar conditions to tonight. With the horrendous weather and uncertainty, it'll be sub 20k tonight. Shame.
leicesterseddon Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Depends how you define 'attendance' I suppose. It means two things really: 1) The number of tickets sold for the game (season tickets obviously included) 2) The number of people who actually turn up to watch the game The official attendance is usually the first of these numbers, which Ii still reckon will be around 20,000 even bearing in mind the weather conditions. As for the number of people who actually turn up, God only knows. Quite a few who have STs will not bother because they don't want to spend hours in the car / be freezing and will just watch it on the telly. Then you'll have some people who just won't be able to get there in time due to the roads.
Callabinho Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 The police can still call the game off apparently, some players are stuck in traffic!
acooling08 Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I know many people who were going to go but are not anymore. Is it worth 2 hours slipping and sliding in traffic?
Libertine Dream Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 The police can still call the game off apparently, some players are stuck in traffic! A friend of mines brother works for the police and has said it would have been off for definite had it not been on sky
Callabinho Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 A friend of mines brother works for the police and has said it would have been off for definite had it not been on sky Sky have the country by the balls.
Guest shearfox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I'm a season ticket holder and even I'm considering whether it will be worth the hassle, tough conditions to drive in when coming from work I was sliding all over the place...
leicesterseddon Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 A friend of mines brother works for the police and has said it would have been off for definite had it not been on sky Obviously I don't know anything about the credibility of your source, but it wouldn't surprise me. The police are just as venal as the clubs these days.
Guest MattP Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 12,13-000. God knows what they will announce though.
