lavrentis Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Dont understand why LCFC don't offer tickets for like £10 for matches like this. I'd have gone tonight if it was. I don't want to pay £20 for a pie (when I have eaten) and a watered down pint.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Should have been called off, they would have got more in a rearranged midweek.
I am Rod Hull Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Wont season ticket holders be counted in the attendance whether there or not?
Bayfox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Im here and if theres more than 10 in its a lie. 8k woulb be my guess.

Corky Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Well done to all those that went. Was it really worth it LCFC?

Webbo Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Well done to all those that went. Was it really worth it LCFC? I don't think the club can just call it off. It would have to be on police advice I'd have thought.
Guest Bilo Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Appalling but to be expected given the fact that Leicester was pretty much impassable from other areas of the county. A crying shame, because that could have been a 25k plus attendance with a smashing atmosphere under different circumstances.
ealingfox Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Have to say, I thought the crowd sounded pretty good at times on TV. Respect to everyone that made it down.
Mark_w Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Out of interest when was the last time we had that poor an attendance for a league game, would be nice to have some stats to combat the imbeciles. Gutted to miss it, must have been about three or four thousand season ticket holders who missed the game, still we'd already payed so what do the club care.
Yojoe36 Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I know many ST holders who couldn't go tonight, including myself. Well done to those who made it. Seeing all the Forest fans laughing at the 8k though. Dumb cvnts. Watching hoof ball every week must lower their intelligence.
I am Rod Hull Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Its not the first time we`ve had 8,000 for a home game against Boro

Having had a quick look at Fossils and Foxes, the last time we got such a low attendance was in March 1991. We lost 2-1 to Charlton and near-as-damnit got relegated that season, but for the legend that is Tony James. To put into perspective, the previous record league low at the Walkers/KP was 16,378 against Stockport in March 2009. It's fair to say that tonight was an absolute freak.
Sharmania Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Where I sit in A2 there was about ten of us in the first ten rows and that was it. Usually loads of the same faces filling the seats for games. Shame for those that couldn't make it.
Itsthejoeker Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 Would have made the trip up from Swindon, but we couldn't start the car. Absolutely gutted I couldn't be there.

Most of them are Forest fans, 'understanding' anything that has happened since Thatcher left No. 10 is definitely a weakness of theirs.
Deucalion Posted 18 January 2013 Posted 18 January 2013 I can't remember a more poorly attended league game. I bet you have to go back to the bad old days of the 80s.

Tonight was a complete anomoly. We didn't sell 8k tickets, if conditions had been normal or improved then I reckon we'd have trebled the attendance tonight. There were far too many factors to take into consideration for this game, I'm not embarrassed because I know the situation.
