Babylon Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 The fact players are having to abandon cars and walk is a ****ing joke.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 2 hours 10 minutes to get from Conduit Street to Welford Road/University Road junction. Do we have a shit journey time record?
shearfox Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Looking at that video, looks very playable... and easily cleared, with the snow stopping this will be on.

Bellend Sebastian Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 We sent the staff home just after 3 and as far as I know none of them have escaped the city centre yet
Bluetintedspecs Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 We have around 5 to 6 inches of snow over here in Solihull with freezing temperatures now and is chaos on the roads so will not be trying to get over, think it is so wrong to expect fans to make their way in conditions like this but suspect game will be on unles the police say it is too dangerous for travel, selfishly, if it does go ahead at least I can watch it on Sky ! Me too mate, but thats not the point, I'd much rather be down the KP and to have had to make the decision I've made only living 5 miles away is sickening! MooseBreath Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Fans should be advised not to travel by car. But the game should go ahead. Any fans who can't make it getting some kind of refund or discount towards a future match would be a nice touch.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 2 hours 10 minutes to get from Conduit Street to Welford Road/University Road junction. Do we have a shit journey time record? I think Babylon's bus has been stationary since 1993.

Master Fox Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Please dont call it off. Game on! Watch it on steam or the pub if you cant get down there.
acooling08 Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Selfish I know, and I would feel for those who have travelled especially Boro fans, but I want this off. The ground will be dead. I live in Blaby, so I'd have to leave now to walk it.
kingfox Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Game is on, the pitch is good, doesn't mean the roads around the stadium are ok though, thick shits. Anyway I will be going, but I doubt I will come back with hands though.

Ozwin Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 This is hilarious. Absolute carnage on both teams' forums, Liam Moore walking from bloody Countesthorpe or wherever and leaf blowers clearing the pitch. Mayhem.
Bellend Sebastian Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 I think Babylon's bus has been stationary since 1993. Is it a proper bus or has he boarded a mobile library?
Steven Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 It will go ahead as Stringer says that it is a Police free game so the Club will decide whether the game will go ahead. What do you think will happen.
Tom17LCFC Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Spoke to some Boro fans at Nottingham train station earlier, would feel very bad for them if the game got called off, had been travelling all day. It's only a bit of snow, if you live in the city, walk!
Kitchandro Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Sky sports saying game is ON They would say that even if it was off just for the viewing figures.
wattolcfc Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 This is a 'No Police' fixture, meaning it's mainly stewarded in house so it keeps costs down and the decision to go ahead ultimately lies with the football club. So it's on. Disgrace that the football club could allow this to go on. Yet again, money talks. **** Sky!
leicesterisme Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 I'm not bothering, night in watching it on the tele for me.
ealingfox Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Think about it, if we don't play this game tonight, we could easily be out of the play-offs by the next time we play, and with a big gap up to 2nd again. As long as we definitely win, we have to play this tonight.
Fez of Mahrez Posted 18 January 2013 Share Posted 18 January 2013 Is it a proper bus or has he boarded a mobile library? He'd have been better off with the mobile library, working his way through some classics.
