Great to see the other pros out there giving some support.

You'd imagine most would be on their private jets on the way home.

I love Hatton, the way he plays and talks to himself is brilliant.

Makes me feel better about myself when I scuff one, smack the clubhead on the floor and shout "SORT YOUR SHIT OUT, TOM" lol

Been a long time since 1954!

Congrats Nick!

:appl: what a way to win it.  Really pleased for him and Canadian golf fans.

Tommy just has to hold his hands up to that and look at his own missed chances.

Bring on the US Open, should be a good one!

Anyone done a major before? Going The Open next month at Royal Liverpool on the Friday, first time I’ve actually gone to watch. Wondering if anyone has before and has any tips on best way to go about it?

I went to The Open in 2003 at Royal St George's, when Ben Curtis won.

It's the only tournament I've ever been to, despite wanting to go again every year since.

It's an amazing day out.

We got on the range and stood literally a few yards behind Tiger, Vijay, Els...it was unreal to watch.

Get close to the putting green too, everyone spends a while on there and you'll get close to the top players and see how they work.

(God, its been 20 years, I take it you can still get on the range and putting green??)

Jon Daly was dead last going in to the final round, we watched him tee off at the 1st and there was an audible gasp at how far he hit the ball.

We then saw him in a bunker about 10ft deep, he walked down the steps in to the bunker, smoking a fag, no practice swing, placed his fag on the side, hit a wedge to about 18 inches from the pin, picked his fag up and carried on smoking lol

We managed to sneak in to the unreserved seating around the 18th too, long story.

These were the days you could turn up on the final day and buy a ticket at the gate!

I think you have to enter a ballot about 9 months in advance now.

Funny as Fvck is this lol

Friend and fellow Canadian golfer Adam Hadwin (dressed in his civvies) runs onto the 18th green to spray Nick with champers and the security guard takes him clean out lol

PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan will step away from day-to-day operations to recuperate from a "medical situation".

Back must be killing from carrying that sack of Saudi cash. Poor bloke.

I’d heard it was a bruised rectum from bending over for them

Some very low scores for a US Open.

Impressive golf .

Shame about Rose - nightmare for him .

A 62 in a US Open just feels all wrong.

Watch the USGA trick up the course tomorrow so no one breaks par.

Halfway through round 2 and I'm calling it now.

Rory wins this.

Fowler looks like he's going to take some beating though.

Opened up with three birdies on the spin?

If the sun stays out, it'll get trickier this afternoon.

Can definitely see the USGA setting up ridiculously hard over the weekend and maybe 10/12 under wins it.

But he always has one bad round in him!

If he keeps driving like he has done, he's got a hell of a chance.

I think the first drive he hit on Thursday was 384 yards, straight down the middle.

That a driver and a 6 iron for me, on a good day lol

No one is scoring particularly well at the moment. Rory has a very good shout in this. Fingers crossed, as otherwise it's a very non European leaderboard. It's an odd sort of golf course. The golf absolutely flies by when you've had a drink or two.

Brilliant 63 from Fleetwood (should have been even lower!)

Bedtime for me, bollocks to these West Coast majors.

Hopefully wake up tomorrow and see that Rory got the job done :fc:
