Anyone watch much last night? I went bed about half past midnight and Jason Day was about 6 off the pace and not looking like making any ground, now he's joint leader. What the hell happened?

Nicely poised going into the final round, wouldn't surprise me if Oosthuizen grabs the win especially if he hits another round of 66.

If Jason Day pulls this off though it will be remarkable, incredible effort on the back nine yesterday, especially at holes 17 & 18.

Rory seriously on the charge here. If he can get in the hutch at -3 it would certainly give him an outside chance.

Maybe even better than that...

What a great finish! I've played golf forever & all golfers from 20 handicappers to scratch players are whiners..the only ones that are bigger whiners are touring pros. The greens weren't great but the same for everybody..suck it up guys!

Finally a good finish to a major, even though my bets had blown it way before then. I thought I was looking good with Reed and Finau but they both had horror 3rd rounds. I was also on DJ but win only so I'm pretty miffed but money aside it was a good tournament. The course will have come in for a lot of criticism but at least it was different for once and it has produced one of the best majors in the last few years so for the viewer that's the most important thing.

We move on to St Andrews next month, Ooosty will be well fancied to retain his St Andrews title.

What a nice change to see a Links Style Golf Course, you need a bit of luck and a steady putter to do well.

The best man won on the day.

I'm quite surprised that Tiger Woods is crap at the game now, despite the 'professional' status.

Thought he'd moved away from his personal problems he had had.

Why have you put professional in shudder quotes? Why are you so obsessed with them suddenly? lol

As for Tiger, he never really got his form back after all the personal problems, bar a little spell a couple of years back. He's had some major injuries too. Add that to the fact he's getting older, touching 40, a time when even if golfers are still picking up good result they're less frequent than in the past, then it all points to him probably never returning to the top.

McIlroy's injurys a fake....

I agree, its a conspiracy to increase his odds of winning.

Like that sheep competition in Father Ted.

Anyone going up to St Andrews this week? I'm heading up Thursday for a few days. Big in to Martin Kaymer this week and Cabrera-Bello at big odds.

Yes I'll be there on the Sunday, can't wait!

Cabrera-Bello is a fantastic player, but a complete bottle job. Brilliant for the first 2 maybe 3 rounds, gets himself into the lead and then blows up. The European tour version of Brendon De Jonge.

Got a lot of time for Kaymer though, good shout.
