Aus Fox Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Who's the scapegoat this week? Pearson out! We are going down!
MC Prussian Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Shocking. Our away form will cost us dearly this season, if we don't pull our act together. Sounded like we were never really in the game but wasted a couple of good chances, though. Pfft.
Basingstoke Fox Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 This is so frustrating. I have very little confidence in us away from home and our away form just increases the pressure on us for our home games. Like I said in the match thread, it's days like today that will make all the difference when looking at the table at the end of the season. Yet again, we fail to take our chances and yet again we lose out on vital points away from home. All the teams around us have won too which doesn't help. Big, big shame because we've been fantastic at times this season.
Yojoe36 Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 One or no points. Doesn't matter. We needed to win, especially with Palace and Hull winning. The road to Wembley begins.
Brooksy Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 I'd definitely take playoffs now. Wouldn't be surprised if we finished outside them on this form and with Middlesbrough and Brighton catching us.
Matt Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 The owners have done good this week, shame our players couldn't follow suit. So lads (and girls) who or what are blaming this week?
Fox 4 Life Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 One or no points. Doesn't matter. We needed to win, especially with Palace and Hull winning. The road to Wembley begins. We have to play an away leg.... Wembley seems like mission impossible
acooling08 Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 QUE SERA SERA WHATEVER WILL BE WILL BE WE'RE GOING TO WEM-BER-LEE QUE SERA SERA
alanf0x Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Forget the autos, lets hope we have the arseholes for the playoffs. Cardiff and Watford will walk it now, hull vs city in playoff final, fryatt to send them up....
kingfox Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Don't care what anyone says. Our away form has been crap. And now we are conceding late goals again just like old times. 88th minute against Peterborough, now 85th against Ipswich. Not good enough.
Danno Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 The owners have done good this week, shame our players couldn't follow suit. So lads (and girls) who or what are blaming this week? [ Blame the Ties
Guest Col city fan Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Cue all the sundry excuses that the usual suspects will wanna come out with. The simple fact is, we are a different side away from home, as I said we would be and it STILL has not been addressed. That will be the downfall.
cc_star Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Away... 442... struggle to get anywhere again. Notice a pattern? There's just no excuse not to get an extra bodies in midfield away from home, whether it's 433, 4231 or 451. As many away wins as the bottom teams in the division, Pearson only has himself to blame for not addressing this, it's dogged us from the beginning of the season & will until the end.
CloudFox Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Not good enough, but at least our next two games are home games, where we seem to be doing a lot better, form-wise. Win the next too ( ) and maybe we can bring a bit more confidence to our away performances.
Callabinho Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Didn't turn up, can't blame anyone individually. This is our worst result of the season IMO! I don't think I can stand the pain of the play offs, In fact I would be a quite angry if we finished in them, simply for throwing second away. We have too many players who don't turn up too often.
connorlcfc Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 tbh we wont win the play offs hate to put a downer on things but as a Leicester fan you should never get your hopes up coz we don't get anywhere , the fact is we are not good enough to go up
Happy Fox Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 I don't hold much hope in the playoffs should we finish either 5th or 6th, first leg at home second leg away from home great news for us
Neil_LCFC Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 17 goals and 5 wins in 18 away games is awful form for a team going for promotion.Teams in the bottom 3 have similar away form. And after not conceding late goals for most of the season we have lost at peterborough and Ipswich to late goals in the last few weeks.
Yojoe36 Posted 2 March 2013 Posted 2 March 2013 Away... 442... struggle to get anywhere again. Notice a pattern? We played 4-3-3 against Blackpool though...
