kingfox Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Most ridiculous idea ever, whoever came up with that is a joke. They were more annoying than those stick things we had against Birmingham. I ripped mine straight away, diabolical stuff.
Harry - LCFC Posted 26 April 2013 Author Posted 26 April 2013 Thought the atmosphere was decent tonight. Very good at times. Killed off a bit when we went behind but no surprise really.
Guest MattP Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 As cringeworthy as I thought it would be. Sensational atmosphere as well at times tonight, hope the noise of them didn't ruin it for the country. edit: 'sensational for the walkers'
LCFC FOX Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 I thought they actually helped the atmosphere, cheer up guys it was a laugh
Babylon Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Yes they are a bit cheesy, but I enjoyed the atmosphere last night... in fact I have done for the last three games. Great support.
KFS Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Gives the kids and oldies a chance to get involved. Didn't use it myself but thought it was effective when combined with Jobbers drum and L1.
melrose Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 I don't know what's more embarrasing, Being caught by your mum when knocking one out or those clappy things last night.......... It's a tricky one!
K1FOX Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 I actually thought they were decent when used together or combined with a song. Atmosphere was pretty good.
fleckneymike Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 I actually thought they were decent when used together or combined with a song. Atmosphere was pretty good. Team was pretty shit.
WeAreGoingUp Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Most ridiculous idea ever, whoever came up with that is a joke. They were more annoying than those stick things we had against Birmingham. I ripped mine straight away, diabolical stuff. ooh, you're hard.
kingfox Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 ooh, you're hard. And you have a Yeovil badge in your DP.
Corky Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 They weren't as bad as I first feared, at least we had some rhythm going.
LJS Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 There are some right miserable ****ers about. The atmosphere was brilliant last night and the noise made by the season tickets they kindly supplied was a factor in that. People were singing a lot more and I reckon that's in part because the noise created by the season ticket adverts helped people overcome a bit of self-consciousness. I enjoyed it.
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Players didn't deserve our support last night. Thought the atmosphere was immense!!
LJS Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 The best thing last night was De Laet's little girl getting a good cheer for sticking it in the goal as they were going round. I thought that was a lovely moment. None of the football stuff matters, really. Last night was fun despite the result and that isn't the case often enough. I'd have no objection to the cardboard things becoming a fixture. They did the job.
funkyrobot Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 I just had a flashback to people all around me at last nights game whacking those f'kin banner clappers to 'dancing in the moonlight' by f'kin Toploader. I almost vomited.
KFS Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 If the clappers make a return, can we sing Wesley Morgan to Man City's Yaya Toure chant? That would be unreal.
Danizen Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 Maybe I was too enthusiastic but I ripped three of these things and gave myself a nasty paper cut. They were better than the inflatable things against Birmingham.
peach0000 Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 After everyone moaning for days on here about how awful the 'surprise' would be they were then proven wrong by the 'surprise' helping the atmosphere. But the miserable people on foxes talk seem to of missed how good it turned out. Sometimes i don't understand how people can be so miserable.

We lost and the team got heavily booed at the end.
peach0000 Posted 27 April 2013 Posted 27 April 2013 How good it turned out? We lost and the team got heavily booed at the end. They worked, the team didn't win but it was nothing to do with the clappers, blame the players not the clappers.
