Watford 'Surprise'

Most ridiculous idea ever, whoever came up with that is a joke.

They were more annoying than those stick things we had against Birmingham.

I ripped mine straight away, diabolical stuff.

As cringeworthy as I thought it would be.

Sensational atmosphere as well at times tonight, hope the noise of them didn't ruin it for the country.

edit: 'sensational for the walkers'

Yes they are a bit cheesy, but I enjoyed the atmosphere last night... in fact I have done for the last three games. Great support.

Gives the kids and oldies a chance to get involved. Didn't use it myself but thought it was effective when combined with Jobbers drum and L1.

I don't know what's more embarrasing,

Being caught by your mum when knocking one out

or

those clappy things last night.......... It's a tricky one!

There are some right miserable ****ers about. The atmosphere was brilliant last night and the noise made by the season tickets they kindly supplied was a factor in that. People were singing a lot more and I reckon that's in part because the noise created by the season ticket adverts helped people overcome a bit of self-consciousness. I enjoyed it.

The best thing last night was De Laet's little girl getting a good cheer for sticking it in the goal as they were going round. I thought that was a lovely moment. None of the football stuff matters, really. Last night was fun despite the result and that isn't the case often enough. I'd have no objection to the cardboard things becoming a fixture. They did the job.

I just had a flashback to people all around me at last nights game whacking those f'kin banner clappers to 'dancing in the moonlight' by f'kin Toploader. I almost vomited.

If the clappers make a return, can we sing Wesley Morgan to Man City's Yaya Toure chant? That would be unreal.

Maybe I was too enthusiastic but I ripped three of these things and gave myself a nasty paper cut. They were better than the inflatable things against Birmingham.

After everyone moaning for days on here about how awful the 'surprise' would be they were then proven wrong by the 'surprise' helping the atmosphere. But the miserable people on foxes talk seem to of missed how good it turned out. Sometimes i don't understand how people can be so miserable.

How good it turned out?

We lost and the team got heavily booed at the end.

They worked, the team didn't win but it was nothing to do with the clappers, blame the players not the clappers.
