DMU Fox Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 That's a shame if it's true about those clappers. I was praying for cards that everyone in the Kop to hold up that read "**** off Sky" or #AMF. Very wishful thinking I know.
21st Century Fox Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I went to the Women's World Cup* in Frankfurt a few years ago and they had them there....... *It's a long story.
CKB Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I truly couldn't give a shit what this "surprise" is, all i want tomorrow night is 3pts!
fleckneymike Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 I truly couldn't give a shit what this "surprise" is, all i want tomorrow night is 3pts! That would be a suprise
Guest MattP Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 Geezer in the pub earlier was saying its clappers with Lcfc and King Power on as well. Really hope not.
Kitchandro Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 How do those things even work? They just look like ice lollies.
Fox42 Posted 25 April 2013 Posted 25 April 2013 How do those things even work? They just look like ice lollies. Think. They're called clappers for a reason they sound like metal batons when you clap them for some reason..
ozleicester Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 1 minute in.... If you dont want to clap.. dont, if you dont want to sing, dont, if you dont want to stand, dont. JUST STOP FVCKING WHINING! COYB What if I don't want to listen to those annoying clappers all game? What if I want to hear a proper atmosphere? What if I want us to look respectable?
ozleicester Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 What if the bloke next to you doesnt want you to stand What makes yours, the only "proper" atmosphere? Why do you give a fvck what other clubs think? Apart from moving the kop... etc etc....What can the club do to improve the "proper" atmosphere anyway?
SOCCERROO FOX Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Surely teaching people how to use clappers would not take 3 hours
ozleicester Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Surely teaching people how to use clappers would not take 3 hours Practice makes perfect
Grewks Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 What if the bloke next to you doesnt want you to stand What makes yours, the only "proper" atmosphere? Why do you give a fvck what other clubs think? Apart from moving the kop... etc etc....What can the club do to improve the "proper" atmosphere anyway? Remove the goal music, totally ruins the celebrations once the music starts. If the club is gonna have music, at least have something which allows for fan involvement to build an atmosphere, otherwise leave it.
NathanC93 Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 i'm guessing some of the miserable sods that have commented on here are the ones that sit behind me at home and talk about how Pearson will hopefully get the sack soon and how they'd prefer to lose than draw because drawing is boring (genuine true story)
1964FOX Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 I shall personally be using the clappers behind DanLCFC's head all game if this is true. You know it boy.
tomtom Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 It's a shame that we create such a poor atmosphere ourselves that the club think that they need to give us something as tacky as clappers to improve it, (it's like chelsea and their plastic flags) ...Get behind the team best you can, go ****ing mental for 90 minutes and sing your hearts out cause this is a big one Come on you city slickers!
whitlock Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 ****ing hell. The club are only trying to help the atmosphere in our stadium, they can't physically make you sing so what else are they going to do. If your really sad enough to of got excited over a 'surprise' form the club. What did you seriously expect? A free season ticket on your seat? A set of car keys to a BMW? They don't have to bother to do anything, just get on with it, sing for the lads. Some moronic fans at times.
Voll Blau Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Clappers? Oh fecking Christ. That's a shame if it's true about those clappers. I was praying for cards that everyone in the Kop to hold up that read "**** off Sky" or #AMF. Very wishful thinking I know. Something with a hashtag on would be, if anything, more cringeworthy.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Geezer in the pub earlier was saying its clappers with Lcfc and King Power on as well. Really hope not. Oh back in the day that guy knew everything
kylestyle06 Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Thinking about it, if they filled the ground with clappers it would be easily turned into a missile to throw at the away fans. I know they won't do a lot of damage but it would be good to see.
davieG Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Perhaps the clappers are for the Watford fans so they can be embarrassed and laughed at.
purpleronnie Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Perhaps the clappers are for the Watford fans so they can be embarrassed and laughed at. They don't need happy clappers for that, some of the oddest cringiest fans around.
ealingfox Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Can't believe how pathetic some of you are, so ungrateful and so determined to sit on a pedestal as far as this atmosphere bollocks goes. Moan about the club not doing anything, then instantly deride when they do. So where do you expect them to go from there? MEET THEM HALFWAY! Look at our owners, then look at Venky's or Vincent Tan. Our owners clearly have mountains of respect for the fans compared to those clowns, they are only trying to do a good thing for you, and it fills me with a lot of pleasure and hope that they are (not for the first time I might add). BTW If the clappers were used with any kind of synchrony they could improve the atmosphere. Done to a melody they will raise noise levels.
_Fatboyslow_ Posted 26 April 2013 Posted 26 April 2013 Some one is going to look rather daft if its not clappers and we know someone will spoil it be posting on here what us happening
