Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 April 2013 Posted 29 April 2013 I don't post very much (if at all) anymore due to the fact I found myself getting into a lot of petty arguments and logging on during our current run would leave me with an impending nervous breakdown (and reaching 15k posts makes you re-assess the direction of your life), but I scanned the other night through boredom and this thread made a refreshing change to the usual 'wish-list / Pearson Out / summer business' type efforts, so I thought I'd contribute. Here's my two penneth (in several parts)...
Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 29 April 2013 Posted 29 April 2013 At least one of those photos will raise a smile amongst even the most miserable. Can we not stop the endless ****ing moaning / trolling and just be proud that we support such a great club?
SystonFox Posted 29 April 2013 Posted 29 April 2013 Still hurts to walk past the site. I remember my Uncle (Melvin) being the announcer for the games and getting to be in the box for a game. Fantastic memories!!! I play footy with mel on Thursdays down at rushey mead school. Top bloke! Still having a good crack at it too
SystonFox Posted 29 April 2013 Posted 29 April 2013 Oh and after the post previous to mine just end the thread here... He's done it!
SemperEadem Posted 29 April 2013 Posted 29 April 2013 Some absolute gems on this page! Is the photo with the 'Liar' banners aimed at Brian Little?
Harry - LCFC Posted 29 April 2013 Posted 29 April 2013 Great, great pictures. Love photos of fans, mostly prefer them to those of the players. That's why I take my camera to away games, so I can get pics like those. Here's one I took a week ago:
fleckneymike Posted 29 April 2013 Posted 29 April 2013 It's not a pic but the commentary alone is spine tingling. Oh Yes! Oh Yes For The Youngster!

Harry - LCFC Posted 1 May 2013 Posted 1 May 2013 Love these kind of pictures, Im too young to remember any of the ones above You going to keep taking pictures next season mate? Yes, absolutely. Just a case of how many games I can get to, might be a bit of a struggle at uni. I reckon I've got over 500 photos takes at various grounds around the country. I'm also too young to remember those other photos too but I love looking at them, gives you a sense of what it was like in the past. Here's another one you might like:
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 1 May 2013 Posted 1 May 2013 Clearly I should have marketed this when I made it back in 2005. I never have been that money-motivated.
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 1 May 2013 Posted 1 May 2013 Fox photos images can't be embedded, sorry. http://www.fox-photos.co.uk/watermark2.php?i=33 http://www.fox-photos.co.uk/watermark2.php?i=577 http://www.fox-photos.co.uk/watermark2.php?i=462 http://www.fox-photos.co.uk/watermark2.php?i=290 From my personal collection, the day the we took over Nottingham and the Bridgford End returned as an all-standing terrace.
Bluetintedspecs Posted 3 May 2013 Posted 3 May 2013 Yes we had some crap times there ( Pleat anyone ? ) but the greatest period in the clubs history was played out at the old Filbo. Anyone who remembers the O'Neil years will remember great games like the three all with Arsenal and the thrashing of Sunderland with Collymore and Heskey running riot. Now tell me when if ever we have had the new stadium rocking like the old Filbo was then ? Exactly this flowy!
ozleicester Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Look at that collar... ill take that shirt next year please
