Vlad the Fox Posted 4 May 2013 Posted 4 May 2013 Tissues at the ready... I bet the residents moaned for years about the football and then when we finally move I bet they were moaning that they couldn't hang their washing out all summer because of the dust.
LCFCCHRIS Posted 10 May 2013 Posted 10 May 2013 Obviously we're only in the semi's but oh wel reminded me of this!l
Steven Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 The chap in question is called Clive Naggington. Might have the Surname spelt wrong but its pretty much it. i went school with him at Burleigh. I believe he now lives in Chiang Mai in Thailand.
MajorDanby Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 Nothing about leaving Filbert Street? Or even just that beautiful scoreboard itself? Seeing this again has actually made me quite emotional. Same seat for 10 years up until this, the last game. Never quite felt the same again. At least we saw the old place off in style

sylofox Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 Still hurts to walk past the site. I remember my Uncle (Melvin) being the announcer for the games and getting to be in the box for a game. Fantastic memories!!! I scored in that goal against wallington
brisfox Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 This is my son,Paul, taken at Leamington pre season. Nigel has the reputation as a miserable git, I have always found him to be charming with a great sense of humour. Top man. Sorry if the photo is in the wrong rotation, that's the way it download.
bovril Posted 12 January 2014 Posted 12 January 2014 is that Pearson watching the ball go in?! That's a bloody brilliant photo.
aussie-fox Posted 14 January 2014 Posted 14 January 2014 That's a bloody brilliant photo. i remeber back in 90s when i was a subscriber to total football magazine reading that the pic was an award winning photo for that year. "and he's done it!"
Thomas_Kirkup Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 YOU'RE CRYING INTO YOUR HOVIS MY SON !!! ------------------------------------------------------------------- Kicked in the grid
Trumpet Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 I've been desperate to find a picture of Trevor Benjamin breakdancing on his back in front of the Sheffield Wednesday home end.
coatsworth999 Posted 15 January 2014 Posted 15 January 2014 Bit of a long shot...but at filbert street in the carling stand, when you came down the stairs of the lounge there was a huge picture of leicester fans at wembley when we played crystal palace. There was also the same picture in a pub in countesthorpe. If anyone has copy would love to see it, as i am at the front.
