Guest Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Even after 2 games it's good to see the same old knee jerk posts by some people. It's comforting that FT is this consistent.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Deeney is excellent isn't he? Yep, and he will beat the crap out of anyone who says different.
Corky Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Really hope Millwall bugger off to League One this year, hopefully after we've done what most other teams do and beat them.
One Arm Babba Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 I hate Udinese and that bee sting face ugly **** Troy Deeney. Cheating scum
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Really hope Millwall bugger off to League One this year, hopefully after we've done what most other teams do and beat them. I think they will go down and so hope they do. We'll probably lose to them at their place yet again though
KFS Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 If we beat Mill this year we know its gonna be a good year
BHAFC Braders Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 We're going to struggle this season unless we bring players in. No heart , no urgency, no skill - Derby weren't exactly on top gear and had a fairly easy day.

Such a shame though, I consider your ground to be one of the biggest fortresses in the league and today it just fell apart. What's the new man like?
Guy1960 Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 So boys and girls how are Watford cheating this season? Loans = none and all incoming transfers ratified by the necessary authorities British starters = Doyley, Anya, Deeney, McGugan

Loans = none and all incoming transfers ratified by the necessary authorities British starters = Doyley, Anya, Deeney, McGugan As I stated above, you aren't, in my opinion anyway. Don't get why people get so worked up about it. It only results in you lot coming on here and posting this. Good 6-1 win today anyway, certainly didn't predict that.

As long as my club plays well what else is there to worry about ?

Not loaning them, just playing fast & loose with the contracts of them. So long as you are owned by someone who owns multiple clubs then you're shitting all over rules and over the spirit of the sport.

Lets not use silly condescending language like that and try and talk down to us, we know you're misbehaving.
MGLCFC Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Whilst I don't like the Watford situation, I bet if Leicester were doing the same and were and having the same success then no one would be complaining. Is it ethical, no, is it legal, yes. So good luck to them. It's not their fault that there is a loophole to exploit. It's quite enterprising really.

As for the spirit of the sport - well football has long past being a game with morals and fair play! Is running up millions pounds worth of debt fair..?

Why would you want a team who you say is behaving unethically to succeed? Baffling viewpoint to hold, don't understand it at all.
cjslcfc Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 What price Will Hughes as Championship player of the season this year? I really do think he's gonna be good. Shame he's a sheep shagger... I played with him a couple of years back in our school first team (he was 15, I was 17). An unreal talent who is also willing to put the work in on the pitch and the training ground. Technically gifted. As you say, a shame he plays for Derby. Just hope he doesn't jump to a top Premier League team too soon and get left on the bench for most of the season
MGLCFC Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 Good luck to them? Why would you want a team who you say is behaving unethically to succeed? Baffling viewpoint to hold, don't understand it at all. I say good luck to them because they are exploiting a loophole in the system. It's not their fault the rules aren't tight enough. Just like we exploited the rules on administration the season we went up. Warnock was in uproar how we got away with it, yet Leicester fans abuse him for his views. Surely this now has to be a case of sour grapes. It's alright for us to abuse rules, but not other clubs?

It isn't right at all for us to abuse the rules, no-one has the right to misbehave, we're no exception to this and neither are Watford. What we did wasn't fair and I do condemn our actions same as I condemn Watford's.

By the way, I still stand by what I said originally, 'Watford are obviously not breaking the rules, the problem is that the rules set out by the FA are not tight enough to prevent this from happening'.

I think it's a natural reaction to dislike someone who attacks your club so I do understand that but I think Warnock was right, even if it is unpleasant to hear someone speak out against Leicester. I agree with you in a way that it's the authorities who should be blamed here but I can't help but feel rather angry at Watford because they are the one's benefitting after all. The FL aren't benefiting unfairly so it's hard to be annoyed at them but yes, it is their fault that this is happening. You expect that from them though, inability to deal with tough situations.
theessexfox Posted 10 August 2013 Posted 10 August 2013 All of Watford's transfers have been given the green light by authorities, don't blame Watford.
