Super_horns Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 How long before Watford get a keeper or 2 on emergency loan? We've got an England Under 21 one sitting on the bench - hopefully he might get a chance. Zola will probably sign another central midfielder...who can pass sideways and backwards or tries to pass through the eye of a needle. Really could do with a striker or two.
NewburyFox Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 The Redshite defensive problems continue with chris cohen out for the season http://www.nottinghamforest.co.uk/news/article/cohen-out-for-season-1194404.aspx Never like to see players get injured for the season, even if it is Forest. Hope he recovers quickly.
Kitchandro Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Never like to see players get injured for the season, even if it is Forest. Hope he recovers quickly. I wouldn't go as far as to laugh at him but a potential promotion rival having a player out of action for the whole season is good news for us.
Guest Bilo Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 The gap down to 4th is incredible at this stage of the season. Us, Burnley and QPR have all had fantastic starts. The 105 points we've collected between us is the highest total that the top three have ever had at this stage of the season. In the last ten years only Wigan (04), Sheff Utd (05) and Wolves (08) have collected more than 35 points at this stage of the season - for three sides to have got 35 points is mental. I can see this being like our first season back in the Championship (09-10) where two or three clubs end up running away with it.

Harry - LCFC Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Anyone reckon Dave Jones will still be at Wednesday by the end of the season?
purpleronnie Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Anyone reckon Dave Jones will still be at Wednesday by the end of the season? nope
Unabomber Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 I think Milan is waiting for the takeover so he doesn't have to sack him. If they do get taken over then I am pretty sure the first thing the new owners will do is sack Dave Jones.
StanSP Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Anyone reckon Dave Jones will still be at Wednesday by the end of the season? Not til the end of this calendar year, let alone season! Their next 5 fixtures are against top-half sides. Then 4 of their 5 fixtures in Jan are also against current top-half teams.

What you need is an Ishmael MIller, or even a Matt Derbyshire..
Fox92 Posted 25 November 2013 Posted 25 November 2013 Anyone reckon Dave Jones will still be at Wednesday by the end of the season? I hope so. Keep them near the bottom.

Most chairman would have got rid by now let alone him.
Happy Fox Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11095/9043426/transfer-news-west-brom-midfielder-graham-dorrans-wanted-by-several-clubs number of Championship sides are trying to land West Bromwich Albion midfielder Graham Dorrans. Thursday is the deadline for loan deals into the Football League, and Dorrans is wanted by up to half-a-dozen clubs. It is believed that Nottingham Forest are leading the chase, but clubs such as Reading and Derby County are also in contention for his signature. Dorrans has started just twice for the Baggies this season and has not featured in the league for them since early September. Scotland international Dorrans is understood to want to secure first-team football, and a deal is now believed to be close. A source close to Nottingham Forest confirmed to Sky Sports that they were hopeful of concluding a deal.
TJB-fox Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Bloody hell cohen is a big loss, decent player and fairly influencial apparently. Shouldn't wish injuries on others mind
Super_horns Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 I thought Deeney was your god and saviour. Not this season so much...
Out Foxed Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Not this season so much... Must have believed his own hype and took his foot off the gas.
RedHux Posted 26 November 2013 Posted 26 November 2013 Bloody hell cohen is a big loss, decent player and fairly influencial apparently. Shouldn't wish injuries on others mind He is, and what makes it worse is he's a thoroughly good egg too.
TRV85 Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 Football League Championship Poll Good evening, I am a spanish student of MBA sports management, I am doing a project of the second European divisions, especially analyzing their stadiums.Thank you very much for completing this poll.I will be very grateful.Good luck Leicester!! http://www.encuesta2.com/encuesta-13022
Super_horns Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 Must have believed his own hype and took his foot off the gas. Probably - not looking at fit and well got a new contract and we know some players go back into a comfort zone when they get one.

Dan Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 Billy Davies is seriously panicking isn't he? Is the answer to every injury to sign another loanee?
StanSP Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 Billy Davies is seriously panicking isn't he? Is the answer to every injury to sign another loanee? Haven't they already got one of the biggest squads in the league? Although I do agree with replacing someone who's out for the season, I'm sure they have enough depth already?!
Guest Col city fan Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 I'll tell you the way to win the league. If there is ANY chance (wotsoever) we could get Jermaine Defoe in on loan, do it. He's apparently so disillusioned with life at Spurs, he's been linked with Toronto in Canada! He'd be the icing on Nige's cake and would score goals for fun at this level. It may be pie in the sky, but stranger things have happened.
