whoareyaaa Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 I hate both of them. I guess I'd have to go with Watford purely because I think Palace under Holloway won't be a massive threat next year. I think right now I dislike the Watford fans and players more, but I prefer Zola to Holloway obviously. Exactly this. Would love to see Watford lose but I think they will still be a threat next season unlike Palace.
Libertine Dream Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Watford, best team in the division in my opinion
Guest ttfn Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Personally I don't accept the argument. Just because they haven't broken the rules does not mean their actions are justified. It is clearly the case that the rules have not been written correctly. There is no good reason why there should be a cap on domestic loans in the first XI but not one on foreign loans. There is no good reason why a group should not be allowed to own multiple English clubs but should be allowed to own multiple foreign clubs. An analogy that I quite enjoy is this one - Tax evasion - which happens to be quite applicable to your 2nd point. I want you to answer this question: Do you support tax evasion? Tax evasion is illegal. This isn't.
Harry - LCFC Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Haven't you openly and repeatedly mentioned that (at least one of) your family are Luton fans and you've ties / allegiances with them? You'll forgive me if I take your rants about Watford "cheating" with a pinch of salt. I'm non-plussed either way, to be honest. You're right, my links to Luton do make me dislike them more. However I know I'd be fully against this behaviour if it were any other club. It being Watford just adds to the bitterness a little. Tax evasion is illegal. This isn't. Ah, what I meant was tax avoidance which is legal. Sorry for the misunderstanding. My analogy still stands. Both are immoral and as such both should be clamped down upon. Easy.
wight88 Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 In a way the general antipathy against Watford over this loophole palaver reminds me of the feeling against us during the admin Mickey Adams season.
peach0000 Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 I want palace to go up because watford don't own their players (code for they beat us). also because palace is a pain to get to.
Kitchandro Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Palace. At least they're a decent club. And I'd like them to do it in the last minute so Watford fans can endure a summer grimacing with pain.
Webbo Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Don't mind who wins as long as its not Watford. This. especially as we've had to endure their pathetic trolls on here after the match. I want to go to the Watford match next season and sing "did you cry at wemb-er-ley".
Lamby Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Palace. At least they're a decent club. And I'd like them to do it in the last minute so Watford fans can endure a summer grimacing with pain. What the **** are you on about?
Sharpe's Fox Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 Although I don't like 'ollie at least Palace have had a team that has been competitive and up there all season with PLAYERS THAT THEY OWN! On reflection when they came to our place it was probably the best side that came to the KP and they deserved to win. Want to see Watford in a relegation scrap next season with about 14 players on their books, with us smashing them on both games and Hollowhead to get the sack in October.
Corky Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 What the **** are you on about? They are to us, you will obviously look at them differently. Just like you might think Forest are a good club, we would disagree on that.
Lamby Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 They are to us, you will obviously look at them differently. Just like you might think Forest are a good club, we would disagree on that. They're not, their fans are too up their own arse
The Horse's Mouth Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 I hope Watford do it tbh, I don't think I would be able to watch Sky Sports News at any point next season if Ollie' was in the prem.
Kitchandro Posted 26 May 2013 Posted 26 May 2013 What the **** are you on about? Compared to Watford and Charlton I mean, not compared to Leicester, obviously.
Wymsey Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Probably Watford; they've performed better overall in the season.
Dan Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 It's Blackpool v Cardiff all over again. Neither. Watford's is a lose/lose. It's bad if they go up and it's bad if they don't.
Danno Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Palace win and Watford to go into admin and then dissolve would be perfect.
KFS Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 We support the Palace, the Palace, the Palace, 'cos Watford fans are stupid, they're stupid, they're stupid, ohhhh oh ohhhhhhh Minority etc etc
Mike the Metal Ed Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Watford. Can't bear the thought of Holloway and his excuses on MOTD every week.
theessexfox Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 Palace win and Watford to go into admin and then dissolve would be perfect. Why would they go into admin?
Swarles Barkley Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 I just want this day to be over as quick as possible. Not even going to bother watching the match
surrifox Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 got to be Watford for me with Deeney sent off early in the game. Too many smug Palace fans around here and without Zaha and probably another of there stars next year they will revert to mid/lower table rubbish, whereas Watford will be trouble again next year. There is also the Holloway factor
Basingstoke Fox Posted 27 May 2013 Posted 27 May 2013 I've been thinking that I've gotten over the other week as best as I can during the last couple of days. But today is going to be one horrible long day to have to put up with. God I wish we were there.
