SystonFox Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Great move for Tom Ince. it really is considering how over rated he is
AKCJ Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Monaco? Four king hell. Surely he's just a shit James Rodriguez.
Guest shearfox Posted 17 January 2014 Posted 17 January 2014 Tom Ince, great move... might have a chance of making the England squad if he impresses there
Jimothy Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Zoopla have threatened to pull the plug on their two year sponsorship deal with West Brom if Anelka plays against Everton Monday. The FA are still investigating it, so WBA aren't obliged to leave him out the team, and Anelka has promised not to make the salute again, so seems a bit harsh from Zoopla. Smacks of Zoopla trying to find an excuse to get out of the deal.

The F.A. haven't a clue how to respond.

The F.A. haven't a clue how to respond. Didn't know they were Jewish owned. And I thought from the way I read the story, the deal had two more years to run. Anyway I think they could handle it better. It was a misjudgement from Anelka, he shouldn't have done it, and he's promised not to do it again. They shouldn't be dictating West Brom's team selection, they should be asking for Anelka to put out a statement of apology.
Stadt Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Man City before scoring the second were averaging 4.5 goals a game at home!
Des. Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Villa 2-0 up at Anfield, could be a big result for them.Weimann & Benteke
Des. Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 2-1 now, Sturridge pulls one back just before half time
Jimothy Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 2-2 now. Gerrard penalty after thin air, i mean Guzan brought down Suarez.
marko Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 2-2 now. Gerrard penalty after thin air, i mean Guzan brought down Suarez. I think when Guzan exhaled a little bit of his breath clipped Suarez on the ankle. Twitter would be going mad with Liverpool fans if it was a Man United player going down like that.
AKCJ Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Hoping Liverpool get the winner. they're ruining my acca here.
Leicesterpool Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Liverpool always get there usual pen don't they?!
Corky Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Aston Villa actually looked a decent side today, much better than the negative hoofball team they are at Villa Park.
Donut Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 It was an awful dive from Suarez, silly from Guzan to rush out and give Suraez a chance of going down, which he was always going to take, but it was a dive nontheless and the side of Suarez no one wants to see. Villa were good value for the point. Vlaar was solid and Benteke was a focal point.
Soar Fox Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Aston Villa actually looked a decent side today, much better than the negative hoofball team they are at Villa Park. I text my Villa supporting friend something similar to what you've wrote. Maybe leicesterpool could answer it, why do Villa look better away from home? They hit teams on the counter attack so quick am when playing away, surely the should be able to do that at home.
Unabomber Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Lukaku has chopped his barnet. Looks weird. He'll be shit now.

If anybody knew that they'd be the manager! I think the difference is when your at home your expected to keep the ball and control the game, villa just don't have the players for that system or style, they sit back too deep at home and allow the opposition to keep the ball and making them feel comfortable. I think also comes down to the fact Lambert doesn't have a plan b, how many times have you seen Villa come from behind and win?... okay Man City at home but to be fair the way Man City controlled the game you'd have thought they were the home team!
Jimothy Posted 18 January 2014 Posted 18 January 2014 Demichelis is a liability for Man City. Luckily for them the rest of the team is pretty awesome to cover for him. Kind of feel like the need to put someone else in there though before they come unstuck.

He's so cumbersome and his marking is very lax.

I can understand signing him as an extra option in the centre back position when there's injuries or suspensions, but he's starting most weeks, when they have Lescott and Nastasic available. Lescott for one has never let them down, he started most games when they won the title.
