Kitchandro Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 It's not a dive. Vidic has lunged in and not for anywhere near the ball and Sturridge is affected by that. Contact is irrelevant, if he doesn't go to ground though the ref probably wouldn't give it. Well it was a dive, in the sense there was no contact and he threw himself over voluntarily. That is what a dive is. He could have carried on and pulled it back. I'd be more annoyed at the two penalties after that which weren't given. Clattenburg was actually shocking today, he bottled several decisions, not sending Rafael off was a disgrace, not giving more penalties after the initial 3 was pure fear of the stick he would get. But then 2 of the penalties he did give were debatable.
Kitchandro Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Another Liverpool player I can't stand is Sturridge. Greedy diving little cvnt. That dance is embarrassing. So much this. What a cocky little shit. Liverpool weren't even that good today. Man U were just shockingly bad. What an absolute embarrassment that performance was.
Leicesterpool Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 I really don't understand what's wrong with him watching the game at Southampton... Nothing it's just there's 19 clubs in the premier league some of them have got some potential future english stars, he's seen Southampton dozens of times he knows what's there! On the Man U and Liverpool game i actually forgot Van Persie played! god he was poor today wasn't he!
Corky Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Sorry but you just can't not laugh. They're actually dreadful. They really are. People can say Fergie got more out of them than their collective ability but Moyes has gone totally the other way.
Stadt Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 But the Man U players didn't close down at all, at one point Gerrard was shaping to pass, realised he could run to the edge of the box unopposed and had a shot without anybody even getting near him.
Haydos Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Well it was a dive, in the sense there was no contact and he threw himself over voluntarily. That is what a dive is. But then 2 of the penalties he did give were debatable. So you think Vidic should be able to get away with tackles like that? Like I said, if Sturridge doesn't go to ground he'd just be in a much worse position and I doubt the ref would have given it. Can you actually argue this if you disagree. I think contact is irrelevant and I don't believe it is mentioned in the laws.
foxes_rule1978 Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 What a strike that was, couldn't hit it any better
Guest Col city fan Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 It did look like Boyd had spat at Hart (rather than it just being spittle that had flown out when he was mouthing). If so, I wonder what the FA will do? If anything?
lcfcsnow Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 What is that annoying song man utd were singing half the match? I can hear it in this game too, really hope we don't copy this one.
cambridgefox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 So much this. What a cocky little shit. Liverpool weren't even that good today. Man U were just shockingly bad. What an absolute embarrassment that performance was. I think he can afford to be cocky ,by far the best English striker this season.Gerrard said he was disappointed they didn't score more.Neville who considering his hatred for Liverpool was very unbiased and thought it was a penalty with Vidic,I never thought I would say I like Gary Neville for Sky,but he has been really good.Unlike man Utd as you say, they are a disgrace to the Man Utd badge.Long may it continue.
Stadt Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 No doubt if Tottenham lose Sherwood will blame everybody but himself.
Dan Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 How so? They didn't do much for me until Vidic was sent off although after that it's no exaggeration to say they could've won 0-6.

RowlattsFox Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Phew. But why are spurs or arsenal singing it then? Sounded like they were singing the stuck with moyes version.
Jimothy Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 That's really poor from Chadli. Open goal and shoots straight at Koscielny.
Stadt Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 What does Sherwood see in Bentaleb? He constantly gives the ball away.
Matt Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Tottenham have been far the better team in this game so far. That's not being bias either. C'mon Spurs.
J.Lisemore Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 Chadli and Bentaleb look way out of their depth, Adebayor needs help upfront.
