Bert Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 How many times has Vidic been sent off against Liverpool now?! 4
Tom17LCFC Posted 16 March 2014 Posted 16 March 2014 So nice seeing Utd getting a taste of their own medicine, 3 pens for the away team at Old Trafford haha has that ever happened before? Shocking dive from Sturridge though tbf.

Guest Col city fan Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Sherwood is a bellend Sherwood looks out of his depth. But thinking that AVB would have done any better is nonsense IMO. It beggars belief that somebody can't take that squad of players and get them scoring goals. Christian Erikssen for example, hugely talented midfield playmaker, is looking a shadow of the player he can be. The Spurs fans must be pulling their hair out. As for Soldado...continually one of the top scorers in Spain, what the fook has happened to him?

Guest Col city fan Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Might need time to adapt? Some players do, look at Dzeko. Not sure mate... I have a couple of pals who are Spurs fans and they say he has been absolutely rank. Poor finishing, little contribution to setting-up play etc. You could be right but don't be surprised if he leaves in the summer.
Corky Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 just watching match of the day and guess whose in the crowd at the Southampton game?.... Roy Hodgson surprise, surprise... has he got a season ticket there or something. I don't blame him for watching Southampton, very entertaining team, plenty of young English players and no doubt he'll enjoy the game. They could provide the spine of our team in five years or so.
AyewJoking Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 in 5 years will that spine be playing for southampton?
Manwell Pablo Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 You live in Liverpool, you have no idea how bad glory supporters actually are. The Liverpool fans people mean when they say shit like that are the pricks who couldn't find anfield on a map. I am absolute amazed how many people actually support Liverpool. I watched the game in the boozer and It was full of Liverpool fans. They've all come crawling out the wood work, and to make things even better the place was almost devoid of plastic mancs, I have never, ever, seen so few Manchester United supporters in that pub for a Liverpool Man U game, ever . Complete contrast.

Guest Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Can the league take action against players who clearly dive for a penalty after the game and seeing video evidence?
Langston Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Sherwood is managing like anybody who's ever experienced a bad run of Football Manager, trying anything in a desperate bid to put something together. Kyle Walker on the wing against Chelsea was definitely an "orange dot" position at best.

Jimothy Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 I don't think Sherwood has picked the same team or formation since he took over. I'm all for tactical nouse, and different formations against different teams, but he just seems to be guessing. And from what I can gather from interviews, he doesn't give the players a game plan or any tactical guidance, he just basically says they're grown men, they know what to do. He really isn't management material.
One Legged Beaver Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 You can tell he looks up to Redknapp in the managerial world. As much tactical nouse as a bowl of cold porridge.
StanSP Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Can the league take action against players who clearly dive for a penalty after the game and seeing video evidence? I wish. I presume that because Sturridge is English and a good shout for the World Cup, he'll escape punishment. Not to mention the FA are 99% bollockless. I don't think it comes in to the 'retrospective action' rule brought in this year, either.
Pride_Of_The_Midlands Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 Sherwood doesn't deserve another season no matter how much he moans to the press about how he does. He's doing better than Moyes. oh so you're not angry at actual liverpool fans They're still Liverpool fans.
Uncle Albert Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 **** off Gerrard you scouse thug ****. Thug? The Ref didn't even give a foul until he seen a bit of blood. Funny how Clattenburg did miss Fellaini smashing Gerrard in the face and causing bleeding to Gerrard. Gerrard led with the arm - completely justified yellow. Lead with an arm? Have you ever played Football and gone for a header? Utterly clueless. Another Liverpool player I can't stand is Sturridge. Greedy diving little cvnt. That dance is embarrassing. It's embarrassing you're referring to him as a **** because of his celebration.. Vidic had only himself to blame, why dive in like that? Sturridge was going nowhere, literally nowhere. What would have been worse Sturridge taking a reckless tackle risking injury for his club in a title challenge and maybe missing the World Cup? Seem to forget he is England's best striker. So much this. What a cocky little shit. Liverpool weren't even that good today. Man U were just shockingly bad. What an absolute embarrassment that performance was. Weren't that good? No, we weren't up to our Arsenal 5-1 level but you'll struggle to see a team dominate a game so much this season, defensively sound, pressed high and looked dangerous when going forward. How so? Exactly, bossed them. They didn't do much for me until Vidic was sent off although after that it's no exaggeration to say they could've won 0-6. Didn't do much? We were 2-0 up, had chances and were in complete control. Jesus Christ, what more would you want? Makes you wonder how many of those fans just switch from a Manchester United shirt to a Liverpool one in a matter of seconds - keeping both shirts at home in a hidden stash somewhere. This coming from a bloke in Switzerland who supports Leicester and is obsessed with England.
theessexfox Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 This coming from a bloke in Switzerland who supports Leicester and is obsessed with England. I think that's as close to the opposite of switching between Man U and Liverpool as you can get..
Uncle Albert Posted 17 March 2014 Posted 17 March 2014 I think that's as close to the opposite of switching between Man U and Liverpool as you can get.. Well I doubt many people switch between Liverpool and Man United, to be honest.
