sdb Posted 15 August 2013 Posted 15 August 2013 Awful call from Moyes there - trying to be like Fergie but actually just sounding really worried and paranoid imo. As the the Diaby debate - quality player for me! 'World class' taking it a bit far though!
Dan Posted 15 August 2013 Posted 15 August 2013 Surely a harder start means an 'easier' period somewhere during the season where the other sides around them will have harder runs? Trying to sound like Fergie I'm afraid.
Danizen Posted 15 August 2013 Posted 15 August 2013 Moyes is feeling the pressure! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23710359 Someone should tell him everyone has to play everyone else twice. I can't believe he's actually made a complaint. He should have a look at Norwich's last five games to dispel any notion of a conspiracy. Of course, the professionally persecuted United fans are eating it up even though, if Brendan Rodgers had done that, they would've laughed so much they shit themselves.
MC Prussian Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 Apparently Arsenal have had a £20 million bid accepted for Gustavo, good signing if true. Gustavo has now surprisingly signed with VfL Wolfsburg: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23724528 In other news: - Darren Bent joins Fulham on a season-long loan (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23711266) - Liverpool sign French left-back Aly Cissokho from Valencia CF, also on loan (http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23726857)
Jaspa Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 Liverpool also look like signing a Brazilian, Willian from Anzhi
foxfanazer Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 A fully fit Abou Diaby is world class! Is it me or has the Tottenham exodus gone completely unnoticed? Gallas, Caulker, Huddlestone, Parker, Dempsey have all left and Bale and Defoe have both been linked with moves away. Vertonghen could be out for the first 2/3 months of the season too. Tottenham are looking extremely light at the back atm. Wouldn't be surprised to see them finish midtable, especially if Bale left. Add Livermore to that!
Bobby Hundreds Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 Arsenal are great entertainment in the transfer market. They're going to have to sign some right ten to twoers at this rate, probably from Ligue 1 knowing Arsene.

Soar Fox Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 How pi55ed off must Arsenal fans be. They have the dearest tickets & season tickets in the league, near on every year they sell their best player/players, not won anything in 8 years, coming 4th is seen as a successful season. Every summer you hear how much money they have to spend and how much profit they have made. But for one reason or another Wenger is reluctant to spend. Looking at his current squad the only players I could see getting in Man City, Man Utd, Chelsea's team are Walcott & Wilshere. Personally I think Arsenal need to replace Wenger with someone who will have fresh ideas and willing to spend a bit.
Fox92 Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 Moyes is feeling the pressure! http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/23710359 Someone should tell him everyone has to play everyone else twice. They've got to play each other twice anyway, not sure what's the problem. I'd expect United to start slow anyway, Everton usually did!
Super_horns Posted 16 August 2013 Posted 16 August 2013 I would have thought Moyes might fancy playing Man City with their 4/5 new players still settling in early on and Liverpool probably will need time to adjust to playing without Suarez.
21st Century Fox Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 I like BT Sport's line-up graphics, could they've made Brendan Rodgers look more of a twat
kingfox Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Good start from Liverpool, good quick passing and link up play. Slow start from Coutinho, but turned on the screws after about 20 minutes, Lucas has improved so much as well, player of the half for me.
ScouseFox Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Fúcking great double save from a penalty on your debut, doesn't get much better than that.
Guest shearfox Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Why did I remove benteke from my fantasy team and bench Coleman!
21st Century Fox Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 I don't understand, why would you want to go and stand in the Sky Sports studio to be in the audience?
Matt Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 Arsenal Arsenal title contenders lol 3-1 Poor Arsenal. And so it begins....
purpleronnie Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 I don't understand, why would you want to go and stand in the Sky Sports studio to be in the audience? To have the chance to be spotted on TV and update their facebook. duh!
Matt Posted 17 August 2013 Posted 17 August 2013 I don't understand, why would you want to go and stand in the Sky Sports studio to be in the audience? Didn't they try something similar a few years ago? With the Monday Night Football, each Premiership club had a fan representative (I understand this is an audience and they were individual fans before, but it's a similar concept I would think). It didn't work them and it won't work now, very cringeworthy I think, not very professional.
