Joey Jones, Conor Brennan, Steven Smith, Karlton Watson and Jide Maduako have not been offered extensions to their current deals, which expire on June 30.
 
The Club has started negotiations with goalkeeper Conrad Logan with a view to extending his current contract, which is also due to expire at the end of June.
 
Youngsters Alie Sesay, Callum Elder, George Taft, James, Pearson, Jacob Blyth, Rob Paratore, Jamie Anton and Jak McCourt have already agreed contracts to remain with City beyond this summer.
 
The Club would like to place on record its thanks to its five departing players for their hard work and professionalism during their time in Leicester City blue and wish them well in their future careers.

Five players from Leicester City’s professional ranks will be leaving the Club upon the completion of their existing contracts this summer.
Joey Jones, Conor Brennan, Steven Smith, Karlton Watson and Jide Maduako have not been offered extensions to their current deals, which expire on June 30.

Jide knew a while back, as he mentioned it on his twitter. Round about 2/3 weeks ago, so I'd say this isn't news to those who are not being renewed.

Says it all when conrad logan is to be offered another contract, really what does he do? pray to god when kasper goes he is not going to be our first choice goalie perish the thought.

 

What he does is sit on the bench without making a fuss. Which is what we need. You cant have 2 keepers that want to play first team football all the time its bad for moral. The only reason he did nothing all season is because we were lucky enough to not get an injury or suspension for Kasper. Some people will complain about anything... do you not understand that football is a squad game?
