VLC86 Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 Totally underwhelmed about our prospects this season... Why not start a thread called 'depressing summer'. Would go down a treat
sylofox Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 I agree Sylo but I was more on about some news of getting rid if some of the numnuts like Gally and Wellens Okies left foot got ya. But I think I have more chance of an England cap nxt summer than us getting rid of our dead wood.
morris1234 Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 Totally underwhelmed about our prospects this season...You never know, for a while we have had busy summers when it comes to transfers and we've fallen short, it just might be one of those things where football just doesn't make sense and we do even better!??
Bausor Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 agree to a certain amount, a team that knows each other well, knows how each other play and where there next move will be in terms of passing and moving. One or two signings would be beneficial,
Happy Fox Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 Bookie Links just to provide even the remotest speculation is that we are http://www.oddschecker.com/football/football-specials 16/1 to sign James McClean 12/1 to sign Jay Bothroyd 20/1 to sign Peter Crouch 33/1 to sign Sylvan Dystin

HOOF
Lambert09 Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 Signing James McClean would be soooo epic. Never going to happen though We are also 25/1 to sign Le Fondre
Number 6 Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 Does make you wonder, if the penalty of breaching ffp is a transfer embargo* then how is that different to just not spending to stay in limits? *I'm aware there may be fines too.
XLM Posted 10 July 2013 Posted 10 July 2013 Tunchev is getting some games under his belt in the Polish Premier division. This isn't a serious suggestion, but that guy was probably my favourite defender that i've had the chance to watch at this club. Always thought that if he never got injured he'd be established in a decent premiership team by now!

IF so, you would only make your finances worse...

Ric Flair Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 I miss him I miss League One. I miss Mark Davies, I miss Tom Cleverley, I miss Kerrea Gilbert, I miss Max Gradel, I miss Fryatt scoring every game, I miss Tunchev like you wouldn't believe. I miss Chris Powell. I miss Andy King absolutely killing it. That season was the most enjoyable EVER. Even better than the O'Neill years but it's probably because it was a novelty and we destroyed the league.
SmithyFox12 Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 I don't "miss" league one, we shouldn't have been in that position in the first place.
Dan Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 I don't miss the fact we were in League One but I miss the feel good factor we had. To be honest we literally haven't had a feel good factor since 09/10 and I include when we were top last season in that. It's bizarre.
Kitchandro Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 I miss Bruno Berner, every minute of every day this.

To be honest we literally haven't had a feel good factor since 09/10 and I include when we were top last season in that. It's bizarre. The 09/10 season was the best one I've witnessed as a fox so far. But last season was up there as I thought it mirrored that 09/10 season a few ways. Lets hope next season doesn't mirror 10/11...
Guest Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 I was watching the 08/09 season review dvd yesterday. What a year! Absolutely loved that team. Dyers pace was lethal, Big Steve bullying defences and scoring a beauty of a goal against Leeds, Fryatt on fire in front of goal. Lovely stuff.
Fox42 Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Also, I'm hearing De Laet to Newcastle. No confirmation of an interest, just a massive rumour...
ealingfox Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Also, I'm hearing De Laet to Newcastle. No confirmation of an interest, just a massive rumour... Yes I'm sure that's a real goer seeing as the highly-rated first choice France RB plays for them.
Simo86 Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Yes I'm sure that's a real goer seeing as the highly-rated first choice France RB plays for them. But he's the only RB they have. I'm not saying its true, but there's no reason why Newcastle wouldn't want cover in that position
lgfualol Posted 11 July 2013 Posted 11 July 2013 Saw on some weird website that Conor Clifford is going Bristol City on a free.
