kingfox Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 With all this speculation. If Wes did surprisingly leave. How would you react and feel?
Fox92 Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 I would react angrily and feel sad. Same. It's football. It happens. We get another centre half in.
AKCJ Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Gutted. He's the sort of player you build a team around.
cc_star Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Disappointed, because if we can continue rebuilding (using money freed up by departures of people who didn't contribute) we've got every chance of going to the next level. Despite his age (and resulting lack of sell-on value) I'd want a hell of a lot more than £1.5m though, he's the best CB outside the Prem, & better than a quite a few in it too. But..... there's plenty more fish in the sea
LCFC FOX Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 IF he went to the prem I would be sad but wouldn't feel annoyed. IF he left to join another team in the championship I would be annoyed. IF he left to a team in the championship and our rivals I would be devastated.
Guest Col city fan Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 I'm really surprised (and mentioned it in the Jan transfer window) that he's not being courted by a Prem side. Interesting to see that Curtis Davies is off somewhere? Hull is it?
Swiss_tony Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 don't care, he's not the worst but neither is he the best.
Dickov22 Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 don't care, he's not the worst but neither is he the best. I think we can safely discount any further posts you ever make then......
Guest MattP Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Be disappointed, but the days of me getting upset over players has long gone. If he goes so be it. We go and get someone else in. That's life.
Swiss_tony Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 I think we can safely discount any further posts you ever make then...... why is that?
Callabinho Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 I'd want to question why he would leave when he is on double te money here. As Kitchandro states....he ain't going anywhere.
Leicester_Numan Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 I'd be gutted but I'd get over it quickly and move on
Guest ttfn Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 We've got next to no experience in the team, something which a lot of people have attributed to our poor run towards the end of last season. Losing the captain and player with the most experience at this level would be nothing short of a disaster for our chances next season.
StanSP Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 Deeply unhappy. I'm not sure why he would go back though. Do Forest have a better chance of promotion than us? Will he get more money there? It would be a confusing transfer. Going back to the club who sold you and who the fans didn't like any more...
Dickov22 Posted 24 June 2013 Posted 24 June 2013 why is that? Because by some distance he was our outstanding player (outfield) last season. If you didn't notice that, you clearly don't know football.

He was mobbed coming out the Froch Mack fight and he was leading about twenty of their fans singing Forest songs.

He's a very good header of the ball, he is also slow and caught out of position a lot. What looks to the uninformed fan like a great last ditch tackle, is only that because he was out of position in the first place.
