Ashley Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Has the away kit been released too? No later in the month.
Voll Blau Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 And what the hell is 'reflex blue' and how is it familiar to us?! Was gonna say. Never heard the phrase "Reflex Blue" in my life. Really not keen on the gold. Looks arrogant (like we've put it there because we won something) and, as others have said, seems like a subtle way of King Power to increase its own corporate identity on the club.
Lasty Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 What's wrong with just plain blue top, plain white shorts, plain blue socks? Now that's classy.
AjcW Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Was gonna say. Never heard the phrase "Reflex Blue" in my life. Really not keen on the gold. Reflex blue is the pantone colour that we have adopted as "leicester city blue" Puma made a big deal of it when they took over the contract as they have rights to use pantone colours linked to clubs
MC Prussian Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Mc, wasn't saying Leeds kit was classy , design for design sake like many a kit now days. What Leeds did well was release back end of the season for obvious marketing purposes. By doing the July release just seems it's feeding you poor little fox cubs a nice story to pep up a uninspiring summer so far. Your kit looks way too cheap and I don't see why you're bringing up the release dates as an argument? An argument for the argument's sake? Pathetic. Also, I'd much rather have a quiet summer and an exciting season than the other way around.
volpeazzurro Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 To think these people are professional designers! Far better fan inspired kits on this site, what's that cheap tacky looking bit of striped cloth in the collar all about and all the gold? For me it's all very tacky. We have a great club emblem, the Puma itself is smart and I don't even mind the Kingpower sponsor logo but it just looks as if they have to go over the top with embelishments in an attempt to be 'fashionable'. There supposed to be footballers not a bunch of tarts.
Happy Fox Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 If you cut that crappy v neck it would look slightly better.
nickyboy Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Went all the way up2 the ground, mrs more or less ok'd the purchase (she has the money) and then made the mistake of sending her the new born baby pack and now she is making me wait and decide on the baby outfit for my soon to be son or the new shirt!! Dam me looking at the baby clothes!
FoxyPalace.com Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Looks pretty cool to me! But Glad I bought a few £10 specials as they do look similar.
Munshi Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Rob Tanner â€@RobTannerMerc2m David Nugent has turned up to the shirt signing even though he didn't have to because of his injury. A great gesture.
Kitchandro Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 I'm very surprised it's getting a load of positive comments. I think it's awful and if another team had it most people would slate it. The collar/undershirt thing is shit, the gold looks really tacky and out of place and the badge is in the wrong position. In fact I'd go as far as to say it could be the worst kit we've ever had. At least the Topps Tiles kit had more white than gold on it.
Kitchandro Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 WHAT IT IS WITH THE SLEEVES? WHY ARE THEY SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LONG? Everybody but Puma seems to manage to get normal sleeves going on. Have you seen the picture of King? They're not long enough based on that. He looks like a right poof.
Lobsterboyuk Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Too much gold for my taste, clearly added to better fit the branding of King Power. From this photo on the OS it looks a bit 70's disco gold lamé: http://www.lcfc.com/news/article/060713-fans-flock-to-kit-launch-898361.aspx
lcfc1994 Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 it looks ok to be honest, i can imagine the away kit being that gold now with white on the sides.
shade Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 don't like the gold and don't like the different unbalanced coloured lines. they should have thought KISS - keep it simple stupid.
Guest Bilo Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Was gonna say. Never heard the phrase "Reflex Blue" in my life. Really not keen on the gold. Looks arrogant (like we've put it there because we won something) and, as others have said, seems like a subtle way of King Power to increase its own corporate identity on the club. I did say on Twitter that the gold wasn't too intrusive, but on reflection those panels on the side are pretty sizeable. We'll look like titheads if we finish in midtable for the reason in bold as well. All in all though, I don't think it's 'terrible' as some are saying. It's not overdesigned like the Leeds shirt or the wrong shade of blue like the Jako shirt. Reflex blue is obviously just their corporate name for royal blue.
Corky Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 It's not that bad, I can cope with it. Would like, as others have said, a return to all-blue.
Ricey Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 http://twitter.com/OfficialFOXES/status/353440517826174976/photo/1 Shiny!
AnotherShitSeason Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Err... fans? Children. Fine. But grown men. Fvcking oddbods.
Leicester_Numan Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 Don't like the collar and I prefer the elbow length sleeves It's good enough to part with £10 in the end of season sale I hope the away kit is decent
lcfc1994 Posted 6 July 2013 Posted 6 July 2013 was Schmeichel at last seasons photo shoot? thought it a bit weird he wasn't modelling the new kit.
