Dan Posted 21 November 2013 Posted 21 November 2013 I typed 3 as a guess and then tried to think of 3, I would say Mattock made it as he made 66 appearances for us and moved on to a bigger club. Mattock more so than Gradel. Mattock wasn't terrible but wasn't great either, largely outperformed by Berner the next year.

Father Ted Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 I'm blocked as well and never tweeted him so he's certainly a 'searcher'. Cain looked the standout one to me on the few occasions I've watched them, cultured. Sesay looked very raw but clearly has some talent, one minute looked likes Sol Campbell and the next Sol Bamba . The rest I have to be honest didn't fill me with much hope of stepping up anytime soon, certainly not when you consider how good and young our current squad is. It must be a strange thing being in a youth team and deep down you know the better the club performs the less likely it is you'll be playing for the team. As well as King has done if we were in the MON era he wouldn't have got a look in to the first team for any length of time. I'm also a proud member of the 'blocked by George Taft group'. I never even tagged him either.
LCFC FOX Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 I'm blocked by Kasper and I've never tagged a player. Sometimes it can be a mistake but there is no way around them unblocking you
Danno Posted 27 November 2013 Posted 27 November 2013 He's deleted twitter now hasn't he? No more inspirational quotes from someone who can't even get into the York City starting eleven.

Lineker's Left Foot Posted 29 November 2013 Posted 29 November 2013 Just looked on Hammers website regarding the Development match for us tonight and looks like we have a new player there called Barrington or do they mean Bakayogo
Solihullfox Posted 29 November 2013 Posted 29 November 2013 England just conceded but Layton looks to have a good right foot for a left back if you get my drift. Looks very comfortable.
ramadaone Posted 29 November 2013 Posted 29 November 2013 Can't believe they are playing him at left back as I've never seen him play there - far better than the no 7 in front of him but doesn't play for the right club unfortunately
Guest MattP Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 Just watching the repeat of this now. 1-0 down to Scotland just going into injury time. Didnt we lose to Northern ireland as well? England are absolutely woeful, we look like a second rate African Nations team, all power and pace but I've seen a better standard consistently of control, touch and passing on a Sunday game league (and I'm being serious there) I've deliberately watched it with the sound off so I didn't pre judge our player so after reading above he's the left back I think I'll be kind and say it wasn't his best game.
Ric Flair Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 What the fcuk are they playing him at left back for?
Simmo86 Posted 30 November 2013 Posted 30 November 2013 They played him at left back? In what way is that going to aid his development?

davieG Posted 4 December 2013 Author Posted 4 December 2013 Leicester City’s U21s eased past Doncaster Rovers in the first game of their Central League Cup campaign thanks to a commanding performance against some experienced opponents. A powerful first-half finish from City striker Harry Panayiotou got City off to a fine start and two clinical second-half goals from City midfielders Ryan Watson and Michael Cain sealed a well-deserved victory at Holmes Park. City’s Belgian defender Ritchie De Laet also made his return from injury in the match, impressing during a 60-minute outing before being replaced by Jamie Anton. The Foxes started with real energy and had a good chance to take the lead after just four minutes when Cain’s dangerous delivery from a corner bounced inside the six-yard box. City captain Alie Sesay managed to get a head to the loose ball but was unable to direct his header past Doncaster ‘keeper Jonathan Maxted, who gathered comfortably. Leicester’s hard work and early pressing was rewarded after just 16 minutes when City ‘keeper Adam Smith’s long clearance caused all sorts of problems in the Doncaster defence. Rovers defender Harry Middleton was unable to clear and City striker Panayiotou showed great strength to muscle past the Doncaster centre-back and fire a powerful right-footed strike into the top left-hand corner. City continued to press after the goal and goal-scorer Panayiotou had a chance to double Leicester’s lead on 22 minutes, but the City striker saw his 18-yard snap-shot comfortably saved by ‘keeper Maxted. The Foxes continued to dominate the first-half and had another chance through midfielder Cain, after a powerful run through the centre of midfield. Cain burst through the Doncaster midfield and made room for a shot from just outside of the 18-yard box, but saw his effort well gathered by Maxted. Doncaster had a fine chance to equalise just before the half-time interval, when left-back Liam Wakefield found room for a cross and delivered to Rovers striker Harry Forrester just inside the six-yard box. Whipped in at pace, Forrester failed to get a good enough contact on the delivery and headed over from close range, sending Leicester into the half-time interval with a well-deserved 1-0 lead. Leicester started the second half brightly and took a 2-0 lead after 54 minutes, with midfield pairing Cain and Watson combining nicely. Cain broke through on the Doncaster right and his powerful cross was deflected into the path of the waiting Watson, who slotted home a cool finish into the bottom right hand corner from inside the 18-yard box. Despite City’s dominance, Doncaster had a chance to pull a goal back after 80 minutes, but were denied by the woodwork after Billy Whitehouse’s cross-shot struck the far post and was gratefully gathered by City ‘keeper Smith. Leicester ensured the victory on 84 minutes and it was Cain who struck to cap an impressive all-round performance and give the Foxes a well-deserved 3-0 lead. Cain found himself in space on the right-hand side of the 18-yard box and after his initial shot was blocked, the ball fell kindly and he made no mistake in driving in a powerful right-footed half-volley. Next up for Steve Beaglehole’s side is a trip to Arsenal and he will be hoping that his side can continue their fine form that has seen them go unbeaten in their last six games. City:A.
