Konch - moving on....

His time is up I guess. He doesn't fit the new system well at all, and his wage doesn't fit our financial restructuring in the slightest.

But lets be honest he has been a good servant to us. When we played 4-4-2 he was solid and consistent for the majority of games.

Hopefully Schlupp has learnt from him...

Can't wait to see him go...however, I do wonder what we're going to do with the money...I'm guessing PK wasn't one of the players NP wanted to shift out in order to fall in line with FFP, it looks like we've achieved that now. So do we sign another LB? Or do we just save on his wages, take the money QPR or whoever it is are offer ending and put that in the kitty? I do worry about the LB position though!

It is a good time for him to go. Feel his experience is useful but that on the pitch his legs have gone a bit and that he is becoming more and more inconsistent with that. Was one of our better players a couple of seasons back and a good servant to the club. Good luck to him

Wonderful news!

30k p/wk saved. If this guy was the difference to promotion or not then, maybe he'd be worth that wage a week, but he is average at best.

When PK came I thought he would be a solid adition to the x11 but last season IMO he was a liability, he completely went after Huddersfield in the cup after his howler & since then every game I have seen he has been poor.

If Harry wants to take him on & we can save on his big wage & who knows we may even get a fee lol that might mean that we could being 1 or 2 young hungry players in with a bright future I'd be delighted.

If Konchesky does leave hopefully Bakayogo will be able to step up and make the position his own.

Schluup is a liability at left back and I'm surprised more goals haven't came from his side. His positional play is awful and like Paddy said the amount of times he drifted inside leaving their right back in acres of room was plain to see. People say his pace helps him but a majority of the time it's a mistake he's done which requires him to use his pace.

lol

Its not funny, we've got someone on the wage bill that thought he was moving on and now were stuck with him. Plus we'll probably not bring any in before he goes.

He would prefer to stay here due to his nice big wage, good player but we are overpaying him and would have preferred him to leave so we had a chance of another signing...

hes been good for us and even though hes lost some sharpness he is still our best left back in my opinion. he will still give 100%. hes earns a fair wedge but at least hes playing regular in the first 11, which shows a lot about his attitude and commitment to the team. some of the higher earners are happy to stay and rot!
