Midfielder Ben Marshall has joined @SkyBetChamp side @OneRovers for an undisclosed fee. More on http://t.co/5gVSInhVpW

Good business if the fee is £1 million as suggested. Just hope the money get reinvested in the team...

Always rated lingard...

Is Josh Low or Kelvin Etuhu available?

They are delighted to announce the signing of a less than delighted player it seems.

all the best to the lad.

Scored a couple of beauts but hasn't been good enough to even get on the bench thanks to more recent signings.

I hate to say I told you so, but ages ago I said it was a mistake to make that song all about Ben Marshall.

I think that song really builds an atmosphere and it is a shame it doesn't get sung anymore.

On Marshall, it's a shame that a good, young player has left but he hasn't contributed much recently and he is probably a luxury we can no longer afford.  I also wonder how much effort he has put in to win a place in the starting eleven?

1 million for a player who hasn't been in the first 11 all season? cant complain, really....

I guess if the deal has been on the cards they might have kept him out of match day squads?

He was certainly poor last season, why, I don't know. One of the 'young, hungry' signings that were lauded at the start of last season so a shame that we weren't able to persevere with him.

I think he is more than capable at this level, so will be interesting to see how he gets on at one of our potential promotion rivals.

we're joint top of the table as it stands and it doesn't look like he was anywhere near making our squad this year (either starting or even on the bench) so in my eyes it's free money.

good business, especially if it means we have the funds now to bring in a new face or two (permanent or loan basis).

Wish they'd have taken Gallagher instead.

Not a massive fan of this deal, still think he's a good player. Probably do well at Blackburn.

Can't remember the last time he turned up and performed to be honest. £1 million is a very good price in my opinion, and a step towards us reaching our financial target this season.

It won't.

Why? Obviously all of the fee won't be, but other ITK's have suggested we were within FFP regs for this season before this transfer so surely some of the money can be used for squad strengthening even it is just a couple of loans?
