CosbehFox Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Nice to see Stringer showing himself up again. Constantly digging away for a non-existent exclusive. Something he will never achieve given he's not even a qualified journalist.
Strokes Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Besides, stringers interpretation of 'interesting' and mine appear to be different. I base this on the conversations he holds with youngy, whilst he is supposed to be telling me what is going on in the damn game. Aggggghhhh
Guest Col city fan Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 If we were struggling near the bottom, I could well believe there was 'trouble in the camp'. We're third and have won two away games. That doesn't smell of any trouble, to me. In fact I hold my hands up... We've had a better start than I thought we would.

I doubt you need to be Mystic Meg to know what he's going to say though. Problem or not, he's hardly gonna come out and go: Well Ian... I'm glad you asked mate. I hate Robinson, he's clueless, Walsh should be doing it all. We're supposed to be saving money and we've hired this clown whose doing **** all apart from pissing me off and getting in my way.
blueblood88 Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Can't stand stringer, it's no wonder Pearson can't stand the bloke either. The players have twitter and a fair few of them will follow stringer on that and see his sh!t stirring tweets, that surely would filter down to Pearson and surely wind him up as we know he likes to do his business quietly, as we all know when he announces a signing out of the blue more often than not.
Tedders Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 always trying to find a negative! we have had the best start to a season in years! everything around the club should be positive!

He's only doing his job. He tries to get more listeners, which more than often, works. I like him, least we have a passionate reporter.
Guest Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 So "interesting comments" is shit stirring?I think the implication of 'interesting' is that not all is well in the camp. Yet despite a decent start to the season he's looking for a negative twist there. In reality what does he expect a bloke who's not been played for a while, and has probably had a disagreement for whatever reason with the manager, to say?Edit: if it turns out my assumption here is incorrect and Marshall says something positive about the mood in the camp I'll stand corrected.

Dickov22 Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 All Marshall said was there's a few players who aren't happy because they aren't getting games and want to leave. Eg Gally, Danns. I'd expect them not to be happy to be honest. Stringer is just doing his job. Can't believe the amount of stick he gets on Twitter.

Its common knowledge with any non playing footballer at a club. We should start a petition to move te family stand and oust Stringer.

They are so unhappy but would rather stay here and see out their contracts than going somewhere on less money to play football.

He works for radio Leicester, if he can get more people listening to the station, even if it`s just to hear a sports bulletin, he is doing his job well.

I'd like to see the stats. I and numerous others turn the radio off when he comes on, he has zero personality and was offered the job as he was a "face" at the time.
Jace Posted 29 August 2013 Posted 29 August 2013 Sounds like a good decision to sell never seen a team improve like ours by selling players rather than buying players

It's true that he should be trying to bring in more listeners I agree. But clearly judging by some sentiment on here and on twitter this method is working against that aim to some degree.
