Dan Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Hopefully no one, the worst chant of all time. Looks like we finally agree
Bob Weasel Fox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Wish they'd have taken Gallagher instead. Not a massive fan of this deal, still think he's a good player. Probably do well at Blackburn. Agreed buddy
svensson Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Looks like we finally agree Haha fair play. Agree with a lot of what you have posted recently. Have you been hacked? ;-)
Finnegan Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Kinda wish we'd have been in for Johnny Russell now.
Gubbins Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 A younger and slightly better Gallagher that has made no real improvement in the year and a half hes been here. If he really had as much talent and potential as some believe then Stoke wouldn't have let him go so cheaply in the first place. Far to many people on this site unshakably believe in the 'hes young so he will definitely improve' mantra. .
cjslcfc Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Shame as he definitely has ability. As some have alluded to I think he is a bit of a luxury/confidence player. No doubt he will go on to do decent things in his career and I bet he makes an impact at Blackburn for sure. Decent money for him and hopefully we can get a couple of loan signings in from this. One centre mid and another winger... Probs some twitter rumour but saw someone had posted on there that we may be after James Henry from Millwall now Marshall has gone? I reckon that would be a good signing. Always thought he was a dangerous winger.
Charl91 Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 He still got the most assists out of any of our players last season. Shame to see him go.
Finn Claw II Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Given NP plays quite negative but effective football my bet would be on a defensive midfield player (the other Arsenal youngster?) coming in Marshall was talented but I'd prefer NP to develop Knocky and he is unlikely to play both. £1m is decent NEXT!
nlukka Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I do feel abit sad that we couldn't get him to replicate his early promise that he showed. I wish him luck in his future career. I agree. I suppose that's the danger with younger players, many don't realise their potential. Don't think he ever did enough to force his way back in the team after Knocky started playing regularly. Just hope we can get someone in as we're still light in the wide areas.
Guest Col city fan Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 He still got the most assists out of any of our players last season. Shame to see him go. That's true...
Tielemans63 Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 £1 million is a good fee. I've got a feeling his Blackburn career might go exactly the same way as his time at City - he'll introduce himself with a bang and then I reckon he'll fade away. I just get the feeling he'll be one of those players who never fills his potential - hope I'm wrong though.
Happy Fox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Need a playmaker more than anything though I suppose Knockaert could fulfill that role, in a 3-5-2 but if we are playing 4-4-2 we need a pacey Right winger.

ADK Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I'm amazed that Blackburn would offer him a 4-year contract. I would have thought in the era of FPP, Blackburn giving a 4 year contract to someone who could for all they know never fulfil their potential and not break into their first team is a bit risky.
sphericalfox Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Looks really happy!! He's tired. He was up all night on FT.
Tielemans63 Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 I think you're probably right buddy.. I meant fulfilling HIS potential by the way not fulfilling 'ho's' potential! He does have a history of fulfilling ho's potential though
Callabinho Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Two loans I've heard, would be ideal CM and maybe a winger come striker?
Out Foxed Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 shame, oh well. hopefully we get a couple of decent loanees.
Guest Bilo Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 With the players we've shipped out on big wages and for fees, namely Beckford, Wellens and now Marshall, we can surely afford a reasonably priced permanent signing?

Dan Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Haha fair play. Agree with a lot of what you have posted recently. Have you been hacked? ;-) Not yet. Was never a massive fan of that chant personally.
shade Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 ah well, at least the fee will pay that helmet, gallagher the leech's wage for a year.
jock2612 Posted 28 August 2013 Posted 28 August 2013 Good luck Ben. Just hope you dont play against us !! Still think this is a shame BUT lets just hope the DOF allows NP to bring in a couple of players.Does anyone think Ward from Derby will now be a possibility?
