Certainly done nothing to even consider being thrown out as England's number 1 over what we have seen. We can't be that desperate we are going to start relying on players playing for teams who have lost to Greennock Morton and Shaktar Karagandy in the last month to represent us in crucial games. Agreed. Hart is our best keeper, we need to stick by him. The alternatives are not particularly inspiring.

I'm not even going to comment on the fact you've chosen to drop Ashley Cole and start two International unknowns in Townsend and Barkley. That is one post to sum up the stereotypical England fan. Ok then defend your points then, why would you drop Gerrard over any of them 6 () midfielders you have picked? None of them have done anything of late for England, Gerrard has been one of the better performers, hence him winning England Player of the Year.. But you're right lets drop him for our two biggest games. Then you picked Barkley and Townsend, never started an International game between them but you want to just chuck them in your 12 man team and think they can just succeed at International football. We need players to go out there in these two games to get the job done, it wouldn't be fair to them two young lads to have a Nations hopes on their shoulders, that's to come in later years. Baines is a fair shout at left back, if Ashley Cole was injured but he's not. Cole is still probably our only world class footballer and you would want to take him out of the team? Well that says it all. I can't believe I have given you the time of my day to right all this out to you and you picked 12 players to play in an 11 a side game.. Wow!
