You have been attempting to convince people that you're 'in the know' in attempt to make yourself feel important. Unfortunately a rumour you read on Twitter and circulated on Foxes Talk hasn't come off. It is now vital that you protect your reputation, how do you respond?

 

a) Threaten to stop posting information. This shouldn't really work, but thankfully you have convinced enough people in the past who will hopefully leap to your defence and condemn anyone who dares to challenge your 'information'. Once things have died down you can once again start sharing your 'information', thankfully this method can be used multiple times without you ever ceasing to spread your nonsense.

 

b) Ask people with genuine sources, who you've wisely befriended, to defend you. Associating yourself with genuine ITK posters can only enhance your reputation regardless of how successful your record is.

 

c) Attempt to change the subject/distract people. There are many different ways you can go about this, you could complain about missing the 'old days' to play on the nostalgia of older posters and remind people of a time when your attempts to pass yourself off as ITK were more successful. Alternatively you could shift peoples anger onto a player who is under performing, whilst conveniently ignoring the fact that you previously defended other players in similar situations. Whatever works for you.

 

d) You're not dumb, you had the foresight to report your rumours cryptically rather than actually saying what you 'know'. As a result you could pretend that your original statement had nothing to do with Leicester City, although this does tend to be less successful.

 

e) Throw more shit at the wall and fast. People have short memories, if you get one right quickly, they might forget that over 50% of the rumours you post are utter nonsense.

 

f) All of the above, it's worth a try.
