Finnegan Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Brucciani's have two places in Leicester, Churchgate (one word) and Fox Lane, just off Humberstone gate. Their production premises are still near King Richard's bridge. ****ing pedant And Rothley chippy is the finest traditional, British, seafood eatery in all the county. To suggest otherwise is a sheer rape of all common morality and good sense. I won't stand for it.

Cheers My First name is Nick, some call me perNICKerty I just didn't want you to walk along Humbo gate and not know that you could dive in Bruccie's for a quick ice cream soda.

I don't think its in but its years since i was in the city centre! Loved the cakes there as a kid! That question brought back some memories! Bruccies are still going, one just off the high street. Got the van that goes round chartwell industrial estate - poor mans mcgorums
Foxhateram Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Getting rusty only 75%. Need to go back more often. Born and raised lestah though. This must mean I'm only 25% devon, the locals are gunna pitch fork me!

Father Ted Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Fish and Chips look no further than Hunters in Evington. Ridiculous how good it is. I've ate them everywhere from in Leicester and they are the best. You having a laugh? Wait ages to get served/food. Workers are proper miserable sarcastic cvnts and the food bang average.
Father Ted Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 58%... didn't know some of the questions about 80's nightclubs etc
Asha Posted 13 November 2013 Posted 13 November 2013 Joining the chip shop debate, Birstall Fisheries were great when I first went there but they've seemed to gradually decline. When I lived in Evington, Christ, Hunters were horrendous! Saying that it was still an improvement on the previous ownership (it was called dillons, maybe?)
Kitchandro Posted 14 November 2013 Posted 14 November 2013 48% It's stupid that 'do you miss the Double Decker at Filbert Street?', 'Do you hate Peter Taylor?' or 'Do you know who Leon Crncic is?' aren't questions.
hairy Posted 14 November 2013 Posted 14 November 2013 I am more Lesta than the lot of you! You are 87% Lesta! 87% Very Good! Lesta loves you too ma duck! Treat yourself to a night of theatre at the Curve or New Phoneix Art Centre!
adam1 Posted 14 November 2013 Posted 14 November 2013 90%. With regards to chippies, the one in Enderby is very good. Hi-Tide.
Trav Le Bleu Posted 14 November 2013 Posted 14 November 2013 77% - I think that a lot of those questions favour older people having done them.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 15 November 2013 Posted 15 November 2013 Nothing left of my Leicester accent. I don't really have a regional one. More a tiger like growl probably.
