It's looking good but the next 30 days are the key. The lads can only keep winning. Results against Burnley, QPR and Reading will tell us a lot.

But today we looked quite slick in patches and beating Millwall is a good sign.

Vardys first was great... took his second well... Millwall fans were their usual idiotic self and a poor following from them... drinky n james controlled the game... knocky was good... defence was solid.. looking up!!!!

Great professional performance today, according to BBC we had 30 attempts with 11 on target. Thought everyone had a great game.

Was upset but not surprised by the racist chanting of the drunken millwall fans on the way back to the train station. Would've been nice if the police could've enforced the law, though i'm guessing they just wanted them on the train and out of Leicester ASAP

Had to laugh when one p*ssed up fella decided he was going to slide down the banister at Nuneaton station, only to end up falling off!

A season ago, we'd have made an opponent like Millwall look good. This season, we put in a commanding performance from start to finish.

The Lions were shocking, the only danger they developed was through set-pieces, their in-game play was abysmal, bereft of any leadership and commitment.

We could've won this 5-0, 6-0.

I'd like to applaud the entire Leicester team for their hard work and the willingness to learn from past mistakes. The Watford experience has made every single one of the ones involved this May a lot stronger. And Pearson's added some much-needed grit in the middle of the park with Hammond and GTF.

There was joy today, pleasure in building up attack after attack, both through the middle as well as through either flank.

The central midfielders also put in extra shifts, helping out in defense. Konchesky weighed in with runs and crosses forward.

Vardy was my MOTM, not only did he score two great goals, he also acted as a provider for his other teammates, assisting in creating scoring chances.

His distribution of the ball and sense for his fellow Leicester players was second to none.

Sweet and complete. Loved every single minute of it. Add the RSC Anderlecht fans and the other league scores to the event and it's simply perfect.

Probably best home performance of the season, defended and attacked well which means an 100% performance, Millwall were just plain awful and that's not taking anything away from our great performance, i think we made them look even worse! The only negative thing i would say is, i wasn't keen on how we closed down the game for the final half an hour, okay 3-0 up! but we could have easily scored much more.

Just got in from the boozer.

Three things:

Millwall were fookin awful.... Worse than I thought they'd be.

We were good. And could have scored 6 or 7

Our midfield is better with James and Drinky playing together IMO. Both were so solid today.

A great day for us. And now we're top. However, I thought the atmosphere today was dreadful. Almost bizarre. Especially in the first half, it was like we were playing a friendly game.

Great win today and thoroughly deserved as well. For once we didn't make a team who we seem to struggle against like Millwall look good. Could have or should have scored more goals but we kept a clean sheet and are top of the league, can't complain with that.

What I like about Pearson is that he is a stable and consistent manager. He dosent overreact when we hammer Huddersfield or Ipswich 5 or 6-1. Likewise, he dosent go into a meltdown when we lose 0-3 at home to Millwall or 0-2 to Forest. Win, lose or draw his post match interviews has always remained the same.

He's a boring chap with an army haircut and a monotone voice but my God I love him just the way he is.

As a (pretty significant) word of caution the teams we haven't played yet are currently 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 9th, 16th and 23rd.

Quite a lot of games against our competitors. If you offered me 46 points right now at the half way mark I'd take it.

They're only that high because we haven't had a chance to crush their confidence yet.

Why the fvcking hell is Ian Stringer asking our goalkeeper about Xfactor? Jesus wept lol

If she wins it he'll be fvcking unbearable. As will the phone in. For about three weeks.

It's his one tenuous link to the banal world of mainstream media he craves so much.

The trouble with the atmosphere at leicester if we either scored or had a near miss or a corner, fans sing loud and proud but about 30 seconds later they'll go quiet again till the next opportunity. I'm sad to say there's no consistency with the atmosphere at home.

Man City will be certainly one hell of an atmosphere don't you worry!

Im working in the US at the moment - as soon as I arrived in Boston I hooked up to the hotel wifi and saw this incredible result. Nice to see that other results went our way too...could this really be out year!!!!! I'm so excited right now.

Truly great by the sound of it, as poor as Millwall sounded and despite our only putting three away from a reported 30 shots on goal!! Vardy looks sharp now after finally finding his feet at this level and of course having the run in the team now that he was never afforded last season at any point of course, despite starting brightly. Good to see "Lord Dyer" still chipping in with the goals from time to time too! Nice story re Wesl's band of supporters journeying over from Belgium too as a great show of their support for him!

All in all, no complaints and I'm surprised the page has only stretched to two! No doubt all the whingers have been kept at bay by our current form but will soon pounce again if we're no longer top by Christmas, I'm sure! This sure is burying the disappointment of last season's play off versus a team who are having a shit time of it at present, namely Watford!

They were dreadful but fair play to us, we did the job well and could've won by 6 or 7. Our attacking pace in Vardy and Dyer is frightening! Also James and Drinkwater absolutely bossed the middle yesterday.

On a sidenote, did anybody else piss themselves laughing when Lloyd could've let the ball go for a corner but tried to keep it in and totally ballsed it up? lol
