Devonfox1884 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Dissapointing result, yes. But we'll dust ourselves down and go again saturday. COYB
jonthefox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 There's a pattern emerging. We always win two games and draw or lose. Keep that up and we're prem bound.
sylofox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Sure wil. I guess this has fvcked up the how will we do in december thread. The thread that fvcks us up lol

Bluearmy 316 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Saturday is massive now to make sure we stop the rot
dayday Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 My concern is it sounded a bit like the Forest game second half,we struggle big time when teams close us down, need to be more direct in situations like that.
Brooksy Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Saturday is massive now to make sure we stop the rot What rot is that then?
iamafox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 At least we're not the only ones that lost to a crap team tonight.
Bluearmy 316 Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 The fact the next 3 league game could define our season we need a result at Brighton to go into the burnley and qpr game full of confidence
The Horse's Mouth Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 It's this year's equivalent to Barnsley
justfoxes Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 I can see us coming back with a decent 3-1 win Saturday hoping knocky is fit after shitface mattocks GBH horror tackle !!
Guest Col city fan Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 A team that has genuine pretentions of winning the league should not be losing a game like this. And again, 3 of the 4 losses have come AWAY from home. That has to stop.

Devonfox1884 Posted 3 December 2013 Author Posted 3 December 2013 Where do we need to strengthen in January ? on the wings.
Happy Fox Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Where do we need to strengthen in January ? Right wing and we could do with a playmaker and another striker imo.
MooseBreath Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Tonight was a big game. It was a chance to cement ourselves at the top of the league, in doing so proving to ourselves that we have what it takes to reach the autos. We failed miserably. and this will have a huge psychological effect. We completely fell to pieces last season due to a lack of mental strength. Tonight will remind the whole squad that they are just as weak as they were last year, and I think we're looking at December being a winless month. We'll look back on this as the turning point of our season. Absolutely disastrous result.

Babylon Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 A team that has genuine pretentions of winning the league should not be losing a game like this. And again, 3 of the 4 losses have come AWAY from home. That has to stop. So who is going to win the league then, because QPR lost away at Doncaster, so that rules them out by your logic.
Babylon Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Anyone else notice that the people who preach loudest about not getting carried away with good results, are the ones who get carried away about losses the most.
Finnaldo Posted 3 December 2013 Posted 3 December 2013 Anyone else notice that the people who preach loudest about not getting carried away with good results, are the ones who get carried away about losses the most. Welcome to Foxestalk.

Of course, always happens. It's why you see longer post-match threads after defeats compared to wins.
