Kitchandro Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 I also found it a bit strange that Pearson chose not to take Knockaert off in this kind of game - we were in front and trying to hang on, and with respect to Knockaert he wasn't in the game at all in the second half, and kept giving it away when he did see it. Why take him off against Sheffield Wednesday and leave him on for this one? Weird.

Kept him on today and he did well defensively and Pearson knew he could be the one to pick out a pass for us to set up a counter.
pazzerfox Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Great result, good performance but I was very disappointing with schlupp when he came on. Players need to take these opportunities when they get the chance and he had chances to cause them real problems on the counter attack on numerous occasions and messed them all up!
XLM Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Good to knock their confidence. Not losing at home at all so far this season gave them a mental advantage over teams going there before. Now we've beaten them hopefully they start to get a bit faulty
Mrmojorisin Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 And you are? Someone who doesn't post very often. A Leicester fan..similar to yourself. Someone who doesn't have the inclination to post as much as yourself. 3pts..club debt clear..Nugent chasing the squirrel. Happy days..cheer up.

Guest ttfn Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 I think smash and grab is a bit harsh. We didn't play well but we never looked particularly threatened in the second half. Morgan and Moore were immense.
Unabomber Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 But I also posted something positive But you cancelled that out by posting about that little berk Bieber.
billyn88 Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Got back from this not too long ago - very chuffed with this result. A true team performance - I usually come away from a Leicester game thinking something like 'Knocky was great today, terrorised the defence' or 'defence was as solid as a rock' or 'Lloyd was on fire' but I can't pick out one superb individual. Drinky was very tidy but he always is. With a bit more composure with Dyer we could have got a couple more. With the exception of Vardy's sumptuous turn and finish, it was all about hard graft today, even if we did ride our luck a bit. My voice had not returned today so I imitated a silent disco when we got the goal and the final whistle blew!
Guest MattP Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Superb result and a real answer to those who questioned the teams fight. Thought Vardy, Drinkwater and Morgan were outstanding. That is so clearly our best starting eleven as well.
purpleronnie Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 No surprise, lose to teams who struggle and beat the one of the best, you never know with Leicester. That's the fun of it.
surrifox Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 very good clean sheet too- Kasper and the defence were always going to be put under pressure by QPR -( I cannot believe the calibre of players they have acquired- Hoillett, Austin, Phillips, Kranjcar et al) - but they should be very proud of that performance, as we have been shipping goals in most games this season
Lionheart Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Massive result today, this will kick us on now. Listened to it on the radio and hats off to the 1800 that went down, sounded great, could do with them all sitting together at home games!
dedlock Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 A good team performance .First half hour Qpr looked the likely winner. The first goal was crucial. I am only surprised they were not more of a threat 2nd half, even tho' we defended well we looked more likely to score the next goal. Three vital points that puts City back in the mix
Leicester_Numan Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 About time we had a win like that, we did to them what teams normally do to us. Well chuffed!
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Fantastic win, i couldnt be arsed to leave work at the scheduled time as i thought we'd lose so did a bit of overtime. Gutted. Been told we did to them what Forest did to use, except score just the one. I'm delighted with a clean sheet really am much needed that was
Mrmojorisin Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 But I also posted something positive Heh..I think you misunderstood. I didn't mean the noose for yourself,I was referring to you saying you would have to pull something over Bieber.
Daz93 Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 Thought on the whole we were pretty poor. Every time we got the ball, we just gave it away within two passes or hoofed it up the pitch to nobody... Our defense was fairly solid and Wes was back to his brilliant best alongside Moore. Second half was better but I thought in all we were lucky to come out with three points. Fair play to us though, we've done a job on them today, much like Forest did to us. Good confidence boosting win, hopefully we can capitalize now and beat Reading and Bolton at home.
Beliall Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 been out xmas shopping, knackered but feeling much better now. 1-0 brilliant. and debt free (nearly) g'won the foxes
Father Ted Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 I think that Pearson has realised that a back four of De Laet - Morgan - Moore - Konchesky and a centre midfield pairing of Drinkwater and James are our best combinations. Keep this up.
Trumpet Posted 21 December 2013 Posted 21 December 2013 I've watched the Vardy finish a few times now. Such a tidy finish.
