I would ask those who just see his 'Opta Stats' to look at the bigger picture and the entire game, we win despite Nugent on most occasions, not because of him. He has had a good month goals wise, so that's only a year of rubbish play we had to endure... I've criticized him in the past when I felt he wasn't displaying what he's capable of but in the last 7 league games he has set up Vardy's goal in the 1 nil win vs QPR, scored the only goal of the game vs Reading and Leeds, created/scored all 4 goals vs Derby, set up Vardy's opener vs Middlesborough, set up Knockaert for his opener vs Millwall and scored one himself. That's not to mention his assists vs Bolton as we obviously scored a hatful vs them and might not have needed him that game. He's flying right now and if he continues until the end of the season i'll happily forgive him for his poor spell during a large chunk of 2013.

But he's been good value for his wages. Nugent has had a direct hand in more goals than any player in the league this season so far. I'd very much disagree that we're winning despite him. If you can't see what he offers to the team then I must question why I am bothering replying to you and your knowledge on football.

Why has been explained on numerous occasions so I won't waste my time typing it out. Second of all: That man in your picture is dressed in white, which is literally as far from black as you can get. With observation skills like that it's no wonder you feel how you do about Nugent.

Think you should be the last person mocking anyone making comments or predictions were David Nugent is concerned. On the article, very interesting read, I am surprised Ricky Von Wolfswinkel has done more myself having seen him a few times for Sporting, including one game I actually went to when he ripped Vitoria apart, I thought he'd scored a few goals in the Prem. Mocking??? How could that possibly be a mock when he was CORRECT? I put a thumbs up as his prediction was spot on, Not quite sure what you are talking about mocking? Maybe you just have a chip on your shoulder where I am concerened.. Try reading posts next time..

It's me, I'm not sure why in my mind i thought vardy set up nugent, Especially as I saw the goal 20x trying to determine the "out of play" claims... for some reason at that moment I'd convinced myself it was nuge!! So just For the record It was not intended mocking, I was actually pointing out that he was 'correct' Even though he wasnt as I'd confused myself!!! Apologies to JTF!

It still baffles me to this very day that people can't see what he brings to the team, on and off the pitch. We once fielded a team that had Elvis Hammond and Mark De Vries up front.
