Finnaldo Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Would be gutted if Kasper left :-( He probably will leave us in the summer.
foxoffderby Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 He probably will leave us in the summer. I don't think he will if we get promoted.
Finnegan Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Wayne Hennessey isn't going anywhere to be number two.
AyewJoking Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 doesnt make sense, if we are resigned to losing one of the top keepers at this level why are we setting our sights on a back up league one goalie?
J.Lisemore Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 doesnt make sense, if we are resigned to losing one of the top keepers at this level why are we setting our sights on a back up league one goalie? Hennessey is a Championship keeper. Just because Wolves are in League One doesn't mean they don't have players capable of playing in the Championship. I imagine the only reason Ikeme is first choice, is because Hennessey has had a long-term injury.
Finnegan Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 A fully fit Wayne Hennessey would satisfy me as a replacement for Kasper if we have to lose him (which I'd rather we didn't.) I'd describe him as fairly similar, good shot stopper prone to the occasional Kasper-esque howler. Perhaps not as acrobatic at short range but I'd say better under the cross. It's a busy job being Wales number one and I've always had confidence in him. He's never going to play for a top club but he's good enough for the lower half of the prem, in my opinion.

No good for us then.
Bettsj2 Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 If it wasnt for him we'd have beaten Yeovil by much more than 2-1 earlier this season. Very good keeper imo and is a bit of a giant. Around 6ft 5 I think so would command the area very well. If Kasper was to go (which I certainly dont want to happen) he would be an excellent replacement as he's approaching the prime years for a goalkeeper.

Libertine Dream Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Wolves fans have their eyes on one of our players too... http://www.molineuxmix.co.uk/vb/showthread.php?t=85983 Somebody tell them that there is no chance Wood will leave. We need him if Vardy or Nuge are out or just to mix it up. He's just been unlucky with his international call up and then injury meaning that once he was discovering his form, he was back out again.
Unabomber Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Steady on Wolves, we will let you have Waghorn but don't push ya luck.
Mike Oxlong Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 ......... but I'd say better under the cross. Is that why they call him "The Messiah"?
Callabinho Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Kaspers got to be off then, can't see them bringing him in to play second fiddle!
Banks Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 The guy is ****ing shit, hope he isn't signing. I'd literally howl
JonnyBoy Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 no way is kasper on his way out. no way why would he ? at a club he loves and is respected so much... top of the league and a chance to be in the prem next year
Bayfox Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Everyone seems to have missed the crux of this issue.......... what would conrad then do? Warm pearsons bog seat??
louie0316 Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 Two decent keepers for hopefully the promised land as Conrad would b a liability in the prem If we don't get promoted then Hennessy would be a good first choice keeper for the future
Buzzell Posted 21 January 2014 Posted 21 January 2014 A) He comes here, Kasper moves on at the end of the season. B) He comes here, becomes the new bench warmer. C) This is a load of b*llocks, Kasper stays, Logan stays on the bench, we go up as Champions.

Did you mean this by any chance: Got a connection at Leicester. The management think Woods is useless. I reckon we should be after players who can perform for us next season at championship level Just
