RedHux Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 C'mon, RedHux. You can call Davies whatever you want to and you have every right to criticize him (just like us taking the mick out of his media skills on a regular basis), but you have to admit that you're still doing great, considering the injuries in the recent past, the constant changing of your starting eleven as a consequence of that, as well as adding new signings left and right. I just hope your team doesn't lose that drive towards the end of the season. Although I do have a soft spot for Burnley, I'd love to see three Midlands clubs getting promoted. Keep it up. We're doing ok, all things considered, but the reason were not doing better is we can't hold a lead and that is a classic BD tactic. We almost always sit back on a one goal advantage. It doesn't matter who we're playing and that might work at Preston or that god awful derby side he got promoted with but now he's been backed with a large squad of talented players capable of pressing an advantage. He's by no means the worse manager in the world, but he is a right irritating little shit.
MattFox Posted 26 February 2014 Posted 26 February 2014 So now tubby Reid is out for 3 weeks too. When you get this many injuries you have to ask what the manger is doing in his training sessions. At least billy has an excuse to try and get some more money out of the chairman
SystonFox Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 What's all this I saw on SSN about Dexter Blackstock sueing Cardiff cos he got a knee injury whilst playing there. Surely it was a freak injury? You can't blame a club or player solely for a snapped ligament? What a super forest cvnt
Dan Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 Anyone reckon Davies is actually injuring these players to save his own back?

For all the complaints about injuries you've conceded a lot of late equalisers and lost a lot of leads, so the "reserves" can't be far off. How close to us should you be?
RedHux Posted 27 February 2014 Posted 27 February 2014 The reserves aren't half bad and any other season with this number of injuries, we'd be properly buggered. It's hard to say how a fully fit team would do as I'm not sure we've had one yet, but I would like to hope hovering around the 2nd/3rd places. I doubt we would have the consistency to challenge for first even with a full squad to pick from.

Watching us this season has made me realise how good you really have to be to challenge for top spot, we hit a groove that had us playing some of the best football I have seen at this level and as a result confidence and belief sky rocketed making us such a hard team to play against despite the talent of the team.

It's incredible really considering how we started the season. We came out of August with 5 wins, 1 draw and a loss (albeit two wins in the League Cup), all despite playing some dross football in the 3-5-2 system with Whitbread at the back! Middlesbrough first half and Leeds at home in particular spring to mind. Quite incredible really.

However those results gave the team a belief, settled the nerves of the fans and put a stop to all the silly rumours floating around the place.
Socks Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Forests problem is the same as QPR's, both owners trying tio buy premier leauge status and it just dont work like that anymore. I believe if you do what we are doing and Burnley & Derby and let a team develop then your in the top 3 If Forest & QPR dont go up they will be fvcked next season with FFP, if we dont, we wont be. And just to remind them we HAVENT spent loads of money this year and WE DONT have any debt. I just keep getting comments (living in Nottingham) that we are the big spenders and we'll be screwed next year Also their main problem is they are stuck in 1980 with Cloughy (his pictures/statue are everywhere in Nottingham like shit in a field) and their European glory so instantly think they are should be in the Prem. Even though that was 34 years ago and have since won fvck all. Same with Notts County fans too, "oh were the biggest oldest club in the world and were far too good to go down to league 2", blah blah blah. When Munto took them over and Sven came in they all said "4 year plan and were back in the Prem and europe" just look at them now ! Pure shite
Bert Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 In this league, who were the last team to buy themselves out of it in a season? It just doesn't happen. As seen with us it takes a good few seasons to build your squad and then become a team.
Guest Mickyblueeyes Posted 28 February 2014 Posted 28 February 2014 Is it bad that I really want forest to come up? I've never understood when derby walk around saying hey we don't really care about you lot. As most fans I know feel the same. I honestly believe derby fans have a superiority complex over forest and are desperate to be on par with them as to why they need us to want a rivalry with them. The fact is the games our one sides and in my time of supporting leicester we always get the upper hand. It's too easy. There is a different feeling around a forest game and despite some of there Fans saying 'we don't care' there are more admitting to the fact the game is a rivalry they enjoy. In recent years it has definitely thrown up a few good exciting games. Plus the fact both teams sing there hearts out. Yes we are leicester city, derby think we hate them cos they want to feel as important as forest, we do hate forest and they (secretly) have a feeling toward us and cov can do one. It's the one game with a good atmosphere/feeling around it. So let's get it going in the premiership.
HEGGSY Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Feel free to move but. Hobbs is out for the rest of the season. lol lol KING BILLY!
Webbo Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I can't celebrate Hobbs being injured tbh. Please Forest are shitting it though.
AKCJ Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 You're not laughing at an injury are you? Because only ***** do that
HEGGSY Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 I'm celebrating the injury More the fact that they are collapsing and it's fvcking hilarious
Les-TA-Jon Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Forest are sounding like a bunch of bitter idiots right now, moaning about all their injuries. But let's not pretend that if we had suffered from a similar amount of injuries to similarly important first team players, that our season wouldn't have unravelled a bit too
Winnershfox Posted 1 March 2014 Posted 1 March 2014 Come on you have to feel sorry for forest. All those injuries.!!!
