johnny the fox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Thought I would get this in early, just one imponderable team Leicester cannot control..expect it.
TheUltimateWinner Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Don't worry my mates just rang me, got him next match
RowlattsFox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 We still get shit refs but we're winning so are not noticed as much.
Matt Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 But is it just coincidence we've not had one? Nah in all seriousness, I'm not going here, i'm not having this argument but I do have to note the fact people aren't mentioning referee's quite as much this season - There has been the odd mention and comment about them, but no where near as much discussion about them as we have had in past seasons. Now this could be down to us genuinely getting better referee's this season, or the fact we are winning and therefore people don't need to look to blame referee's, not noticing their bad performances . Like I said I don't want to dwell or cause argument on this subject, we're having a good season and long may it continue.
Beliall Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 i bet our last 7 opponents think they had shit refs
mozartfox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 We must be due that Darren Deadman fella at some stage. Possibly the worst referee ever to officiate in English Football.
DennisNedry Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 We must be due that Darren Deadman fella at some stage. Possibly the worst referee ever to officiate in English Football. Gavin Ward?
Stevie Synex Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Winning tends to steer the mind in a positive direction and blocks out the decisions that don't go your way.
johnny the fox Posted 26 January 2014 Author Posted 26 January 2014 Winning tends to steer the mind in a positive direction and blocks out the decisions that don't go your way. fair enough. but we all know we have had some really dire decisions in past seasons.. just for once we have has the rub of the green..could be just karma..but Im expecting a backlash.
Hollism Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 We must be due that Darren Deadman fella at some stage. Possibly the worst referee ever to officiate in English Football. He was 4th official in the FA cup match between Chelsea-Stoke today. He had a go at Jose for putting the ball onto the pitch when there was to be a free kick right in front of the technical area! Mourinho just laughed in his face
Dan Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 i bet our last 7 opponents think they had shit refs Middlesbrough lost because of yesterday's ref apparently
Lionator Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 Yesterday's ref really was actually quite good given the conditions, it could've got very tricky for him. Even the one flash point in the first half where Dyer ran into their player with a high foot, the ref he kept a calm head. Got the free kick decision for the 2nd correct, got the penalty correct, who knows for the first but the linesman had the best view.

The ball was out.. but it could of been in.. ha ha. what a fookin shat decision.
Tielemans63 Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 They're still shit but we're playing well enough for it not to be an issue. Lets be honest, our first goal on sat was a bit of a joke.
FoxTrott Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 They're still shit but we're playing well enough for it not to be an issue. Lets be honest, our first goal on sat was a bit of a joke. Second goal was fair deuce though. And we had a penalty which we should've scored. I don't think they were denied any decisions which could have lead to them scoring?
EdinburghFox Posted 26 January 2014 Posted 26 January 2014 At least we don't have to deal with Scottish football refs-they're truly pathetic
RarFox Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 We havent noticed the refs at all this year because they are irrelevant the way we are playing. Last season we needed a bit of extra luck or a refs decision to go our way (or to avoid one going against us). This year we just boss it for the full 90 mins and do enough good things that any bad decision/bad luck doesnt affect the outcome of the game. example: Derby a few weeks ago nobody was moaning how unlucky we were to concede an own goal of de laet's arse we were all jizzing ourselves about how well we played and about destroying a decent Derby side
RAFRUDY Posted 27 January 2014 Posted 27 January 2014 Darren Deadman is the 4th official tomorrow at brum!
Monsell1976 Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 We definitely got one. He was hopeless. disgraceful excuse for a ref, seemed to react to the home crowd, not what happened, but we won
leicesterisme Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 How the fvck did Drinkwater get booked for that tackle?! He was terrible, never mind.
Heart-Shaped Fox Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 One of the worst refs of the season today and the linesmen were just as bad. Every decision or 50/50 to them
Kitchandro Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 The linesmen deserve equal stick. It was so obvious at times they weren't even considering giving anything until the crowd made a noise.
Dickov22 Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 The linesmen were worse. Flagging for everything. Ref gave us nothing
Bert Posted 29 January 2014 Posted 29 January 2014 Drinkwaters booking was an embarrassment. Wasilewski was deserved but he was only booked once they went crying to the ref. The Lino far side was happy to give anything that their fans shouted for.
