Guest ttfn Posted 29 January 2014 Share Posted 29 January 2014 A friend of mine is in Japan for a year and she wants me and Mrs ttfn to come and visit in mid-May. Flights will obviously increase the longer I leave it so... Do I: A) Book now and risk ridicule for my over-confidence? B) Play it safe - I don't want to miss us crashing out of the play-offs at Forest. I imagine that Fraizer Campbell was in a better position to write off the cost of a holiday than I am. Nalis Posted 29 January 2014 Share Posted 29 January 2014 I'd go for Option A. And if we don't go up automatically, don't blame yourself, blame Nige and the boys...

Steve_Walsh5 Posted 29 January 2014 Share Posted 29 January 2014 I booked a holiday last Friday forgetting about the playoff final. I've said that IF we are playing in it I won't be going on holiday.

You'd miss out on a holiday for a game of football. Are you mad?

Captain... Posted 30 January 2014 Share Posted 30 January 2014 Last game of the season is on the 3rd of May, Play off final is 24th of May, Go on the 4th come back on the 23rd, all is good, you don't miss end of season (possible promotion/champions deciding) match, if we end up in the play offs get back before the final, if you miss the semis it becomes irrelevant, as if we win you will get to watch the final, if we lose you will miss the heartache. And you have up to 19 days in Japan.
