Happy Fox Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 I don't know whether the reference is made in jest or we are actually interested in him. One suspects that Forster need only sign for Leicester City in the summer and look impressively busy in the first month of the 2014/15 Barclays Premier League season to have the experts swooning and be the subject of a campaign to start England’s first Euro 2016 qualifier if Hart has a troubled summer. Forster stresses that playing in Scotland was ‘not something that’s come up in conversation’ as an issue during his England squad appearances, which included a debut against Chile last November. Tielemans63 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 I think whoever wrote it is writing hypothetically about Forster's England prospects. They've gone with us because we're looking likely promotion winners but that could read QPR, Burnley etc
Babylon Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Hope we are not in for him, he`s rubbish! Didn't you say Pearson was rubbish?
Banks Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 He's rubbish? One of the best English goalkeepers around. If you wouldn't take him then you wouldn't take many players. Good player, but it's probably bullshit.
Ashley Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Hope we are not in for him, he`s rubbish! LOL LOL
Guest Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Didn't you say Pearson was rubbish? On several occasions if memory serves correctly
Biggus Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 He's a good goalie. With Celtic being in the European Championships every year has some good big game experience e.g. vs Barcelona two years running. He is already no 2 to Hart, think he was on the bench for England games recently.
Matt Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 No. He must be one of the most untested keepers in the world playing in that one team league. Barr the odd games the play in the CL.
Buzzell Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Would be a great replacement for Kasper if he decided to leave and if we went up.
MC Prussian Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Hope we are not in for him, he`s rubbish! One of the best English goalkeeper prospects in recent years, but yeah, I agree. He must be rubbish if you say so.
Matt Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 One of the best English goalkeeper prospects in recent years, but yeah, I agree. He must be rubbish. I sense some sarcasm. I am being quite serious here - 'One of the best English goalkeeper prospects in recent years'....Doesn't really say or mean much does it
CosbehFox Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 I think trees a lot of whoosh going on here. The article is trying to say if he joined Leicester or a newly promoted side, there would be much recognition of his recent achievements.
RonnieTodger Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Absolutely no chance would we get him. I hate the internet sometimes. God no! Would genuinely prefer Conrad. Especially when i read stuff like that.
smudger63 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Didn't you say Pearson was rubbish Oh Hello Mr know it all Babs, My god how would this forum keep going without your obvious wisdom in all matters, all hail to you Mr Know it all Babs ! As it happens, no i didn`t initially say that Pearson was rubbish. In fact i was very impressed with him first time around, and even at the start of last season, but any manager who wins 2 of his last 16 games of a season, from what was a real genuine promotion winning position, and being in charge of a team that was serving up such pathetic and inept performances as Barnsley away, Sheff Wednesday at home, Derby Away, to name but three, can be considered very lucky to keep his job. This season, he seems to have learnt from some of his mistakes from last season, and brought in some experienced players, to help a young squad, his tactical awareness and substitutions have also improved greatly, so well done Nigel Pearson, i`m impressed again. Lets hope we can keep it going. Up the City! I still say Fraser Forster is rubbish though, in my own humble opinion obviously, but as we all know the only opinion that could possibly be right is yours Mr Know It all Babs, so maybe i should bow down to your obvious superior knowledge! Nah **** that, i will stand by my own convictions thanks Bye Bye Mr Know it all Babs,
Lineker's Left Foot Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Is he coming here....... nay lass
smudger63 Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Absolutely no chance would we get him. I hate the internet sometimes. Especially when i read stuff like that. Why do you hate the internet, because other people have a different opinion to yours? I`m sorry but that`s life i`m afraid, your opinion is as valid as anyone elses, but it does not have to be the only opinion that anyone can have. My god if we all agreed with each other, the world might be more peacefull, but it would be boring as ****!
GingerrrFox Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 Anyone who hypothetically wouldn't have Fraser Forster as a replacement for Schmeichel is on smack.....or crack.

Leicesterpool Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 He's a good goalie but he's more likely to join a top six premier league club, won't be surprised if he's on the radar for Man U.
AKCJ Posted 16 February 2014 Posted 16 February 2014 I sense some sarcasm. I am being quite serious here - 'One of the best English goalkeeper prospects in recent years'....Doesn't really say or mean much does it Well he can't be one of the best German goalkeeper prospects in recent years. All it says is that he's a top class keeper.

With Moyes there I agree, Don't think any other top 6 club would be after him. I still have nightmares from that £9m keeper from Scotland that Sunderland bought, Wow he was shite, he was tipped for big things wasn't he?

Craig Gordon.... was considered VERY good, then basically shit-out at Sunderland. Injuries I believe.
