biggs Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Wigan are a quality side.....we were not likely to just walk all over them playing away to boot
lgfualol Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 I hate this scrappy messy football. I feel like it happens when Konch is playing "Hmm easy pass, or chip it up and lose possession.. I know! *kicks it out*"
AKCJ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Maynard on for McLean, Powell pushed up to the last man now? Need to keep our eye one him. Thank **** we didn't get him for that 7m bid or whatever it was, he's been wank.
MC Prussian Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 But I think he's wrong to do that. I forgot I wasn't allowed an opinion on a football forum If he'd rested players because they'd played well in previous games then why was he so reluctant to change winning sides? This is an opportunity to put daylight between us and Burnley, i'm amazed that he hasn't grasped that opportunity by playing his strongest 11 (no guarantees of winning with that 11 as the Yeovil game proved of course). If we played this side against Burnley everyone would have been furious when we're probably playing a better team tonight than the one we did on Saturday. Can you actually enjoy a game for a change?

BoneDog Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 This thread has been quite entertaining Some top DOOM merchants.

trabuch Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Defenders getting a good workout today. Good test for next season..

You seem to be again missing the fact that these are 22 points behind us and Burnley were 3 points. Hence why people would have been upset against them. Those 3 points, the other results that day, and the fact Burnley have no strikers for the coming weeks means we can rest people.
AKCJ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 'Andy Kings Crown Jewels' - bloody disgrace! What? I'm only giving my ****ing opinion you moron. I think we shouldn't have made such drastic changes for a game against one of the best sides in the league. Nigel has got 99% of things right this season and I fully back him to do the same in the PL, I just think this is a very good opportunity to go 9 points clear in the league and have the opportunity of promotion as soon as Saturday.
AKCJ Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Can you actually enjoy a game for a change? This is my curse. Call me a glass half empty guy, but I want us to go for promotion, the title and hopefully the points record as soon as possible.

Sorry mate, but I think we're daft to make changes because of other sides misfortunes. We should be ruthless IMO.
Babylon Posted 1 April 2014 Posted 1 April 2014 Need to bring hammond on to tighten things up... oh hand on.
