What Would Be The Score...

Thinking back to some of the games during this last decade is just horrible... Sheffield Wednesday defeats at home, 1-3 and 1-4, Sheffield United away when James Beattie scored a hat trick in about 15 minutes, Rotherham beating us on boxing day at home, losing at home 0-2 to Luton...

Bobo Balde's nasty pre season tackle really affected his time here. Glad he's doing well at Oldham. Saw him in the white horse at Quorn a few months back. Nice bloke.

Idiakez now works for us. I seem to remember Nygaard scoring a screamer. Went to see a Hibernian game last year, they had Maybury and Mcgivern playing at either full-back position!

God that was depressing.

Thank fvck for Nige and his ambition. 13 wins in a season was an achievement, let alone 13 away.

Newton-Jarrett-Hughes-Yeates

Without a doubt the most pathetic midfield in our history. How did we even stay up that season?

Kelly at least put round pegs in round holes, there were so many years where I couldn't figure out what the team was meant to be. Unfortunately they were shit pegs.

The worst memory was the 07/08 season where Holloway said we were too big to get relegated. Always remember Barry Hayles scoring a last minute winner against Palace and he was assured we wouldn't go down.

Jarrett now plays for Chester in the Conference.

What I'm always so surprised about is how much I (and many others) dislike McGivern - given how few games he actually played for us.

He was awful, but he only turned out in 12 league games. Why does he stick in our memory so well? He's always one of the first names to go on an "Alltime worst XI" list? Was it the hair?

I think he just represents everything that was bad about our football club at the time. Another half-hearted loanee just going through the motions.
