Poznan34 Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Help needed, I've got the handheld version and after a success save with LCFC everytime I start a new save I immediately have new owners come in and give me bucket loads to spend, even if I'm western super mare I am giving ten million quid. Anyone know how I can stop this from happening? As it's not realistic Thanks You must have unlocked it. You should be able to turn it off on settings.
Guest Mee-9 Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Rescaldani is amazing. One of the best free agents I've ever signed. He's next level, cost me a fortune at Palace but was worth it. Took over Arsenal and quit within weeks as it was so boring. Dropped down to Sheff Wed, they were 19th in the Championship, need to guide them to midtable. Lost the first, Drew the second, won the last 3 against all teams in the playoffs/around there.
Dan Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 I'm back at Nantes. 4th after 7 games. Never fails to amaze me how far above themselves some of these players here play. I was actually worried going into Metz away but we completely hammered them for 90 minutes. Wookie, how long did it take you to win the league with these?
Jaspa Posted 26 July 2015 Posted 26 July 2015 Got this quite recently and booted up a new save unemployed as a decent manager, got to January and saw a job opening in Mexico with America. Struggling in a League that sees teams loan more players out to eachother than they would field in the entire season, alot of them doggo. Anyway I've cleaned them up and won the League and got to the Final of the Norf Amercan Shampions Lig, peace of piss, sorted out new coaches, got the formation down as soon as I got in, had Quinterro and Pulido banging in the goals for me, even had a random four and a half star English CB pop up in the youth setup. Only problem I had was averaging 2 moderate injuries a week. Now I'm ten games into the new season. Turns out America give a nice transfer budget of £25m with Quinterro and a back up striker off for another £20m, bought in Ochoa, Lozano, Jesus Corona, Joe Gomez, Borja Fernandez, Zach Clough, Mammana and Savitskiy, got rid of all the duff loanees that came back and still left with £5m. Not doing bad seeing as I've not played for about 3 years, might give Mexico a couple of seasons to develop these kids and then jump over to Argentina, Holland or an average Spanish team I can build. Edit : Few problems I'm having though. Although form is good I tend to have matches where the team underperform for most of it, then either one or a few save it for me and Ive still got to tell them assertively they weren't good enough and they should up their game against better opposition to that the few that saved the game throw a hissy fit and get 'Confused and Demotivated', while the rest of the shitters all agree and go green fired up and motivated, to which the confused and demotivated go straight to the press to tell them I should change my team talks. I can handle it but it gets annoying the fifth or sixth time. Another one at the moment is the foreigner rules, in Mexico you can have up to 5 in the League but no restrictions in the Cup. So I have a young Brazilian left back on loan that I intend on buying who cant make the League cut, to which he throws a hissy fit and demands a recall and all this bollocks speaking to team mates and press about it, saying 'you'll regret how youve dealt with this, this wont be last of it', when all I want to do is resolve. the stupid ****. Team talk simulation needs diversifying

Took over in October 2015 while they were in the relegation zone, finished 12th (+ won CDL), then 7th, then I won it although PSG struggled and Monaco have finished 2nd for about 8 consecutive seasons. Piazon as a raumdeuter basically won the league.

I hammered Lyon 3-0, won away at Lille yet have handed Stade de Reims & Evian their first wins of the season in consecutive games. The injuries are an absolute joke. Djilobodji has gone to Marseille and the squad's become a little bit of a mess, although I think in time I'll make these a very decent side. Cracking youth system and the financial projection looks promising. Ismael Bangoura's been stupidly good for me so far. As has Veretout but that's expected.

They had an abundance of shit wingers, most of the side that did well I'd signed, Djilo was monstrous though
MC Prussian Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 Caution: Playing Football Manager can have real-life consequences. http://www.bbc.com/sport/0/football/33676556 Kudos to Mönchengladbach for joining in.
Dan Posted 27 July 2015 Posted 27 July 2015 The injuries on this game are so ridiculous it's actually taking the fun out of it for me. I can accept you will get them but I'm in November and I've already had to draft in three players from my U19 squad. It's pathetic.
Frank to be Posted 28 July 2015 Posted 28 July 2015 Won the champions league for the first time with Leicester after ten seasons. Also won the league and fa cup this year so I'm thinking of resigning with a record of 1 x Champions League 3 x Premier league 2 x FA cup 2 x League cup Some charity shields
Jaspa Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Games just had me off. Accepted a bid for a back up CB and sold him off for 1.9m, turns out hes partially owned by an agent so I thought the buying club would have to pay the cut just like when you buy players that are agent property. Turns out its the selling club in this situation and the bastard agent has walked off with 100% of the transfer fee. Makes no sense to me
Frank to be Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Applied for the Barcelona job, they told the media they were flattered by my interest, but then didn't even give me an interview. How's that work?

Guest Mee-9 Posted 29 July 2015 Posted 29 July 2015 Went from Sheff Weds to the Man Utd job, it's fair to say my previous reputation in the game must be good.
RoboFox Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Just finished my 5th season as RB Leipzig manager. Finally reached the quarter-finals of the champions league, and just missed out on the Bundesliga for the third time (Bayern are impossibly good) which has secured my status as the only "icon" at the club. Problem is, despite all the income from the CL, my transfer budget never goes above about 15-17m per season. I find myself looking for pre-contracts and younger players to build the squad thriftily when all of my rivals are spending 20m+ on one player... It's quite fun, actually. There are SO many unbelievable attacking midfielder regens compared to other positions. I have about 5 wonderkids in my U19s who play AMC. Edit: Does anyone find that it's difficult to sign youngsters, even from smaller teams without the asking prices being absolutely ridiculous? I tried to sign this one 17y/o striker from some mid-table Bundesliga team, and they came back with an asking price of £299m.
Stadt Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Yeah it means they're not for sale! in real life however they'd obviously accept a £10m for a 19 year old that's barely played

Dan Posted 30 July 2015 Posted 30 July 2015 Anyone ever signed Mads Albaek? I've never come across a player who scores so many rockets past me. Signed him for three million.
CloudFox Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Has anyone had much success with LLM? I've just started a save as Whitehawk in Conference South on FM14 (waiting until 16 is out rather than getting 15 methinks). Tough going down there, but certainly makes a change. Finally stringing some wins together now, aiming for promotion!
lavrentis Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Doesn't someone off here work for Sports interactive?
Finnegan Posted 2 August 2015 Posted 2 August 2015 Ricey. He is part of the team that does graphics for the match engine, I think. Also works on the mobile app.
