Any coincidence you reckon or is it cause were massive i expect this to tail off if we are doing crap in the premiership.
Jace Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I'm no expert in marketing although I do have a GCSE in Business but I think it may have been triggered by our recent promotion/championship winning success
Mark_w Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I think we're all just a little bit less ashamed to admit it in public, aren't we?
CosbehFox Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Of course they will be. There's a lad I know on Fb; he's been a United fan all his life and in the past few weeks, it's all been Leicester. He's even taken to delete posts from city fans giving him stick over his recent club choice. Of course they will be. Marky mark Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Got a man united mate at work u know the one dosnt know where Manchester is ......... He claims he has a ticket for sat .....(****)
lcfc1994 Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Yeah started to see a few when Ive been driving around (in Derby).
Voll Blau Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Preferable seeing people in Leicester gear walking up and down Humbo Gate rather than nobbers in Man United knock-offs from Sports Direct.
Al-aLondon-Foxile Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I've been wearing my training top at the gym lately. Saw some lad in a QPR top in there last week the day after we beat them. When you live away from the city it seems many (non footy fans obviously) don't recognise the shirt anyway.
foxile5 Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 There are plenty of them coming out now. I have a couple of Pals that 'support' the big four, but are more than prepared to claim to be City when the going is well. Shower of bastards.
lavrentis Posted 28 April 2014 Author Posted 28 April 2014 I'm no expert in marketing although I do have a GCSE in Business but I think it may have been triggered by our recent promotion/championship winning success Cheers mate, didn't know that
Out Foxed Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 my mate visited Leicester a couple of years back (he's a Hibs fan) and commented on how many people he saw wearing Leicester gear. So i don't think it's too much of a change.
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Facebook is the place you find out people have actually been Leicester fans all along. Worrying.
Vardinhio Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 genuinely have a mate who's a Man Ure fan/part time Derby boy. Anyway the free DMU tickets managed to convert him and his son! I'm not sure how as their first game was Brighton!
MC Prussian Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 i stopped wearing my Man U full kit months ago.... Pictures or GTF!!
Steve_Guppy_Left_Foot Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Dunno what Gary Taylor-Fletcher has to do with anything.
DANGEROUS TIGER Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Anyone noticed an increased number of people wearing leicester shirts / lcfc items of clothing in Leicester and surrounding areas? Any coincidence you reckon or is it cause were massive No, but then I live in High Wycombe, so it's just me I think. Seen two or three Tigers shirts though, as well as my own. I alternate them and my City shirts each time I go to town. I got slagged off in Costa a few weeks ago, by a group of Chelsea freaks, but gave 'em back as good as I got though.
65RosesFox Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I don't know if more people are wearing them or that because we are doing so well, people are noticing them more. When we were doing cr@p under Sven's reign people wearing a Leicester shirt would go unnoticed. Now people see someone wearing them they assume they've probably jumped on the band wagon and are "elastic"
Unabomber Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 I've seen a major increase at work recently, but then again I do work in a plastic factory.
ronnup Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Time for the 'I'm the biggest fan' battles. How sad.
sylofox Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Not sure I have seen it in Great Yarmouth but I will try running round faster and may see myself coming the other way. We do have a few fans here if you visit try spencers pool hall next to McDonalds or the Apollo. Thought I may see a few shirts over easter but none. If anyone down over the summer I'm on the market new stall in club colours
deejdeej Posted 28 April 2014 Posted 28 April 2014 Yep let's slag off the new fans we might get and stick with 2/3 of the stadium full every week and then moan about empty seats and other clubs saying they're bigger than us... blahhhh.
Asherz Posted 29 April 2014 Posted 29 April 2014 Chance to buy and wear a lcfc top would be a fine chance
