Miquel The Work Geordie Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 Why anyone follows footballers on Twitter I have no idea anyway, in about thirty years I could count on one hand the number of interesting things they have said. Woah, now. You mean you *don't* enjoy the standard generic footballer's tweet template? @inserthandlehere nandos with the boys tonight then gonna listen to ed sheeran then three points tomorrow #tunes #buzzin #chills

Dan Posted 30 October 2014 Posted 30 October 2014 We're gonna get absolutely hammered there. We will win. This is Leicester.
davieG Posted 30 October 2014 Author Posted 30 October 2014 So unprofessional. Especially for a player that's played for his Country and one of the biggest clubs in the World. .....and on the FA Commission to save future of English football

Dan Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 .....and on the FA Commission to save future of English football They've been proven to be clueless anyway. I do think it's ridiculous how this warrants a three game ban whilst Aguero's stamp goes completely unpunished. Doesn't mean he's any less of a child-like idiot though.
Asha Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 It's stupid from Rio but seriously, a three-game ban!? Should have just been a fine from the FA and a fine from the club. It's not like it's a malicious personal attack on someone, it's just a standard (albeit immature), generic insult.
Guest MattP Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 Absolutely classic 'Arry on Sky Sports today. Says he's not sure what Rio has done or what he was charged with (probably something a manager should take an interest in when it's one of his players) and he doesn't even know what Twitter is. Also said Tarrabt was on 60k a week, which is strange for someone who previously has claimed he doesn't know anything about finances.

And he's now thinking of playing Tarrabt, the man who only a week ago was 3 stone over weight.
Corky Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 And he's now thinking of playing Tarrabt, the man who only a week ago was 3 stone over weight. And the worst professional he'd ever come across. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/queens-park-rangers/11176863/Adel-Taarabt-is-worst-professional-I-have-ever-come-across-says-QPR-manager-Harry-Redknapp.html
Samilktray Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 Do other sports have these kind of problems with there athletes on Twitter?
Stevosevic Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 Do other sports have these kind of problems with there athletes on Twitter? Yes, in some cases worse - see the England cricket team.

Had he just abused the lad or belittled him fine but No he calls his mum a slag. The moment he did that he is no better than the racists he complains about. He is also an idol in some peoples eyes and the FA can not be seen to condone his sexist comments. It should have been 3 months. You can't say anything about my colour but I can abuse your mum. He is no lesser scum than the people he complains about.
sylofox Posted 31 October 2014 Posted 31 October 2014 And he's now thinking of playing Tarrabt, the man who only a week ago was 3 stone over weight. Fvck sake Arry has got his hands on a new diet plan. A word of advice chaps keep your hands on your credit cards. Once the mrs finds out about a 3 stone in 3 weeks diet the credit cards will lose weight to lol
Guest Col city fan Posted 1 November 2014 Posted 1 November 2014 I don't think I've ever seen such stick legs as Sammy Ameobi's.. Skinnier than Lloyd Dyers!

Finnegan Posted 1 November 2014 Posted 1 November 2014 Is there a more bullshit, pretentious phrase in football than "the west ham way?"

Asha Posted 1 November 2014 Posted 1 November 2014 How bad are Liverpool, and Moreno in particular!? That clearance
Jimothy Posted 1 November 2014 Posted 1 November 2014 Skrtel appealing for offside when he's playing Dummett on by miles and is looking at him the whole time!
bovril Posted 1 November 2014 Posted 1 November 2014 Is there a more bullshit, pretentious phrase in football than "the west ham way?" "Another famous European night at Anfield."
The Doctor Posted 1 November 2014 Posted 1 November 2014 Liverpool really are poor - pretty obvious they relied too heavily on Hannibal Suarez. Newcastle looking better by the week though.
